“Good to get that over with.”

bb:

Sunklands next? Further than the beginning.

Hucka D.:

Plant has come along again.

Plant:

Hi.

bb:

Plant, do you work for Hucka D.?

Plant:

Not really. Nor Marty. Nor Lemon. Nor Petemond or Peter for that matter. I’m a free agent. I came into this affair with [no strings attached].

bb:

Sunklands, you mean.

Plant:

I had to give up my career, but not really. It was all in the tube then. But Dr. Blood came along. I was there at the beginning for that as well.

bb:

You’re talking about Big Sink, then. Big Island or Big I. is gone, Mr. Plant.

Plant:

That’s ok. Let it go.

bb:

The two are not that different in size and shape, though: Big I. and Big Sink.

Plant:

Peter made the sinks from Norumbega.

bb:

You’re talking about [delete name], then.

Plant:

That’s what I said: Peter.

bb:

These have something to do with the Sunk Lands of Arkansas. And also Sunklands of Missouri. Both, perhaps equally, although the two are on very different scales physically.

Plant:

It is predicted that you would come and live in Sunklands among us, past present future. We are Petemond.

bb:

Did The Bill make the central Petemond cross… the one I’ve “recreated” on the new property?

Plant:

Lemon drew The Bill in. He was a Firehead. Lemonhead. Marty said ok, just like I said ok when Page decided not to join our adventure in Sternberg. I understood that part.

bb:

You were and are a team, just like Marty and Lemon. You saw that in them.

Plant:

I respected that. I had… have my problems with Marty, but who could live with Lemon? Marty did a spectacular job of putting up with him. The rest as well. But, of course, he was the heart.

bb:

Of The Beetles.

Plant:

He was a Lemonhead. He, in a way, started all of this. Dr. Blood came in later.

bb:

We need to talk more about those rabbit holes sometime. You or Hucka D. and I. Or perhaps Marty. Lemon?

Plant:

Peter.

bb:

Back to the cross idea, then. So the cross was made and Peter entered it. Time became simultaneous in nodes. The celestial roundabout.

Plant:

It is a clock whose alarm is set for 2062 [delete 2 sentences].

bb:

What is the Peter Dunne mechanism?

Plant:

A synchronicity charter. Defining List. Tronesis.

bb:

Is he the same as Hucka D.?

Plant:

Might be. We’ll see [soon enough].

bb:

What about Peter Gabriel… Variant? Is he, I mean, a variant, like yourself?

Plant:

He is the only one that’s *not*.

bb:

Tronesis is close in spirit to Dark Side of the Rainbow. My closest synch to that. Not MessianSphere.

Plant:

Tronesis has always been a problem for you, hasn’t it? Not in the center but central in importance. A dichotomy. You deal with this by not dealing with it. Set it aside. Logical.

bb:

Sunklands, though, was created in 2004-2008, or the same time as the collage 10×10 now exhibited in its heart.

Plant:

Hucka D. wants to look at your collages again soon, baker Beach.

bb:

I have been thinking the same thing, not surprisingly.

Plant:

You are not really the same as Hucka D. You can just predict what he can say quite often. You don’t put words in his mouth. You just pick up on what he’s about to say, or what he’s thinking.

bb:

Interesting. Separate entity. Of course I knew that all along.

Plant:

Sunklands is very real. Perhaps the most real place for you in this virtual reality. You know Peter made it [from Norumbega].* You know that there are two major sinks and 4 minor, 1 sim sinks. You live between 3 sinks now. As much in the middle as you can possible get. Petemond. Cross. Clock… mechanism. Wind it up. See where it takes you.

*****

bb:

I was going to say thank you, but let’s continue just a little more. The Big Sink was created, along with all the others, perhaps at the same time. Petemond, maybe was the first settlement. The cross was created first. Peter’s Cross. All was built around that. It is an alphabet.

Plant:

Of The Bill. That’s what Lemon got out of them. Center becomes important. Beyond SID. Core.

bb:

In a way this is Arizona and New Mexico at once. A small town within, perhaps in one state, then the other. Or both at once. AZ-NM. AlMaNoZ.*

Plant:

One had no idea what was to come when it started. Spectacular. Spectacles.

bb:

But this, in a way, is coded into the Greenup collage series on the bottom floor of the Edwardston Station Gallery, Mr. Plant.

Plant:

Yup.

bb:

Is [Peter’s Cross] the same as the cross in the 10×10?

Plant:

Hucka D. is here now.

Hucka D.:

Seathwaite Fell, yes. S.F.

bb:

I suppose I should start reading Floydadada again.

Hucka D.:

Yes. Goodnight.

bb:

Thanks.

* I suspect that New Mexico’s Charles Nelson Blinkerton may play a role in this discussion soon as well.

Peiland Gone, Ephant… Good For Now…

New structure at the bottom of Sunklands, since removed in the intervening time between the insertion of these photos and the creation of the attached text. Currently there’s nothing on the bottom of the Aotearoa sink. Could change in, well, a heartbeat.

The Baker Family’s first sighting of Santa this year. How exciting! And two of them ta boot.

Snapshot3600_006smaller

And Belkie Bear! Now I personally run like hell when I see this bear approaching me in malls and stuff, but Karoz seems unfazed by the appearance. I hate Belkie Bear; long story (can’t remember it myself but it’s long standing… ask the wife). But, anyway, I don’t really think this is Belkie Bear pictured below. Here’s a comparison shot. No, in looking at it now this SL bear is obviously merely a bear in a Santa costume, and probably no relation to Belkie Bear at all. What a relief.

Some last shots of Big Island after I deleted the ground house, wrecked steamer, and about everything else except the palm trees.

The unframed portrait of Lord Chancellor Chesaw, now half buried in the sand where the house once stood. Will we ever know the full story?

Then after deleting all the non-vegetative objects on the Big Island property, hopped over to Ephant to decide that particular rental’s fate as well. I decided it will stay… for now. As I’m writing this text, the rent’s about up again, actually. Another decision time.
