Pietmond Statues December 13, 2011

To the west, Goldie. He’s the loneliest, sitting up there basically alone on his hill.

To the east and in Pietmond Heights, Brash. He thinks he’s in the center of it all but he’s really not in the big scheme of things.

Rusty is in the north. He’s shy. He knows he’s not in the center but doesn’t understand how actually close he is, still.

Newton to the south, positioned in front of the norris Temple. He’s been here a while already, but is without partner statues Jasper and also Jack now. He probably thinks he’s some kind of center as well.

Another new one, and in the true center of it all (TILE Temple/Pod Room). The name I have for this fellow right now is Piepodt. That’s right, Piepodt. For now. This one can see, as you can see. Break the stare, Baker, break the stare! Seriously, I think he’s an OK fellow, and will turn out to be a good friend for Baker Bloch if he decides to stick around.

Hucka D.:

Why are they all men?

bb:

Dunno, Hucka D. Do you have other ideas?

Hucka D.:

Not yet. Goldie is a nice woman’s name. Who’s the dipsy girl on Different Strokes?

bb (guessing):

Goldie Hawn?

Hucka D.:

Yeah.

bb:

That’s not Different Strokes. She’s known… [she’s] most famous for her appearances on Laugh-In, Hucka.

Hucka D.:

The center one — Piepodt I believe you said you decided to call it — may be a woman. But it’s not Piepodt if so. It’s Sharon. Or Charon.

bb:

Makes sense I suppose.

Hucka D.:

Yes. I’m checking my sources right now and it says there are 3 women and 2 men. Or visa versa. The 5 Piepodt statues.

bb:

Pietmond, you mean.

Hucka D.:

Says Piepodt here. Let me double check (rustling noises). Yes: Piepodt.

bb:

Hmmm.

Hucka D.:

Don’t you want to ask Charon some questions?

bb:

Not surprising, I guess, that she can talk. Is she the same as NORRIS or norris?

Scharon:

No.

bb:

Hi Scharon.

Scharon:

Hi. Good evening to you. Nice day in Piepodt.

bb:

Do you call Pietmond Piepodt for a reason?

Scharon:

No.

bb:

Are you the pod of the Pod Pad?

Scharon:

You know who I am. I am a Carrcass. Carcassonnee.

bb:

Is that your true name?

Carcassonnee:

Yes.

bb:

I am very pleased to meet you.

Carcassonnee:

I am very pleased to see you as well. I control the center.
