First and Second Life at least.

Very Latest… May 31, 2011

So here’s what I’m going to do *now*. Stay in Otaki Gorge/Pietmond but not Teepot (all land sold in latter today). Downsized from 40 dollars to 25 dollars a month land tier. Going to keep renting Crabwoo property for 4 bucks a week until can figure out what to do with it.

Insights:

There were only 2 TILE Temples: Crabwoo and Pietmond. There wasn’t one in Teepot. I tried to duplicate the temple there but it didn’t work. Plus at the last I was having problems even rezzing objects on the land (no prob in Otaki Gorge in the same login). “Sign.”

Pietmond’s TILE Temple was based on Crabwoo’s, but built on the grounds of another religious center, an original Pietmond Cathedral.

I own the core of Pietmond land again, but I will not rebuild the town. Instead the gorge will return to a natural state, the core again. The important part is owning it once more. The rivalry with Teepot was briefly reflected but then dispelled in this transition back to premium membership. Teepot, again, will not be reenergized in any way. And Pietmond will only exist, as I said, in its natural state on the ground. All Pietmond builds will focus on skybox creations.

The focus of a skybox build will probably be on a new version of the TILE Temple in Pietmond, probably with attached galleries. But the gallery/galleries will not be central this time around.

Crabwoo temple still around… for now.

Kind of liking the idea more of returning to Pietmond. I don’t think a town will be rebuilt.

But I’m thinking if so that Teepot might be out. Look what dropped on that deserted community just today!

Hucka D.:

Sign. Can’t recreate Meddletown now. Stuff of legends. Between Art in the Park and Gallery in the Park.

bb:

Sunklands is deenergized. It looks like I’ll be staying in Crabwoo after all.

Hucka D.:

There is another option: buy in Crabwoo.

bb:

I think it was a mistake to buy the Yeot and Otaki Gorge properties, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

Not mistake but lesson. Just like in real life now.

bb:

I’m trying to buy my way out of a difficult situation.

Hucka D.:

You must stay in Maebaleia in each case. People understand. Let KK make his list. But cut him back a day. Or 2.

bb:

Right. Once Pietmond is over, and it is, then it’s done. Teepot was just emphasizing that.

Hucka D.:

But, as well, perhaps you should become a premium member long term again.

bb:

I’ll just be buying land after land after land. No, that’s it. I’m going to be a bum. Roam central Maebaleia. Allow Maebaleia to catch up with Jeogeot in the number of post on this blog.

All land subsequently put up for sale.

11;41AM:

Latest: I’m going to sell the Teepot land but keep the main Pietmond core and cut back to 25 dollars a month tier. It wouldn’t be much more, at all, than if I kept renting in Crabwoo and also Lakeview. And I’d preserve Pietmond for the future. Think that’s it. Happy birthday present, baker b.!

What am I doing? May 29, 2011

Filed under: Otaki Gorge,Pietmond,Teepot,Uncategorized,Yeot — baker Blinker @ 7:16 am

Pietmond might be back on?

Teepot even?

At least for now, they actually are, although I have all the land for sale again. I don’t think I can return to Pietmond days. I can’t give up the Crabwoo lot right now.

It was not a mistake but it was a final lesson. “Hucka D.?”

Hucka D.:

No mistake but lesson.

bb:

Did you make the Pietmond land available again and so cheaply?

Hucka D.:

Yes. You won’t get a buyer. You’ll have to live there again.

bb:

I don’t think I want to. Focus should be on Carrcass-5.

Hucka D.:

I don’t like to do this but I want to talk about KK. It’s interfering with your judgment.

bb:

OK.

Hucka D.:

KK does not hate you. He actually loves you. He is teaching you a lesson.

bb:

I can see that.

Hucka D.:

Nothing will come from it. He’s just really mad.

bb:

Alright. That it?

Hucka D.:

No.

bb:

What else, Hucka D.?

Hucka D.:

Your mother.

bb:

What about her?

Hucka D.:

Nothing.

bb:

You…

Hucka D.:

You have bigger problems than KK. You wanted to return to a stable past situation. A reboot to an older system. Can’t be done. Maebaleia is still the place. Look at the energy even in the past several days. Maebaleia needs to become up to snuff with Jeogeot, which is overdeveloped. Jeogeot is associated with the premium account. Teepot was also a lure. See how these traps work? Now you must give up Lakeview for a while for balance. Yes, get back into the real world. But also develop Maebaleia. More places like Chesterton will be found. Be a bum for a while.

bb:

I think I will return to the Satori Flats[ then]. Maebaleia is the last stop?

Hucka D.:

Carrcass-5 now.

bb:

What will *that* entail?

Hucka D.:

Hucka D.:

My bet is on dying this time. Like we do every time. How many? 11?

bb:

Lost count. You mean you and me together or you separate?

Hucka D.:

Um, maybe separate. I remember 6 deaths.

bb:

What do you feel like now? Coz we just died again. Gorillas this time.

Hucka D.:

Orange. Like a big round orange waiting… waiting…

bb:

Hucka D.:

To be appealing. (pause) Sorry.

Baker tops a Lycanthrope ridge to encounter this great view down to Rubisea. Worthy of a snapshot, he thought.

Ditto for this great view, again from a ridge, down to a neighboring, as yet unnamed larger lake of Maebaleia’s Lake District. This would be the ppol to the immediate west of Rubisea, as opposed to the similarly sized one to its immediate north already recently described a bit in this post and this post. The view here would be from the Loogaroo sim.

Yet another Lake District lake, this time the westernmost one and also the smallest, along with Rubisea. It lies almost entirely within the Aswang sim, although a tiny bit projects into the lower part of Taernils Bluff to the north. The parrot already pictured in this post from early 2010 still seems significant, especially after finding another parrot apparently highlighted in several ways at another Lake District lake. I have a feeling I’ll be talking about all that more soon enough.

More interesting structures and objects from the 1/4th sim sized parcel in Taernils Bluff also containing the parrot pictured above.

Completely unrelated picture now, except it’s still from Maebaleia, more eastern part this time. The sim location is Triglav; I just remember liking the rock being.

Crabwoo Reflection? Incubus?

Filed under: Incubus,Mãebaleia Continent — baker Blinker @ 2:14 am

Great Mysteries of Maebaleia, Part 11: The Crabwoo Reflection. Subcategory 02.

I first discovered what appears to be this authentic mystery anomaly back in summer 2009 shortly after finding Crabwoo itself. Directly south of the 2 sims obviously making up Crabwoo at the time and outlined in pink in the map below, were 2 solid pink squares of the same dimension, or 2 side-by-side sims once more. I noted it at the time but then never reported it to this blog. Just a slip of the mind.

So tonight when hopping around Maebaleia taking shots, I noticed that these same 2 “Crabwoo Reflection” sims were again highlighted in a solid color on the SL map, purple this go around, indicating that both whole sims are up for auction at the same time. 2 bordering mainland sims classified like this seems a rather rare occurence in SL, although I might be wrong.

Then while looking at this map and noting another whole sim up for auction (northwest) and thus also highlighted in purple, I thought of the small parcel in the Incubus sim in the middle of all this that I had place in my picks several weeks ago. The below map capture was created after I teleported over to that parcel, in fact. Let’s tune into Baker Bloch there now, then,…

… as he stares at these 2 purple-ish plants lying on either side of the narrow 1024 lot and thinking that an association might be made with the purple colored sims mentioned above. He also associates the slummy, patched bed he’s standing on with a very similar colored mall occupying a sim (and a bit more) below and in-between the 2 purple colored ones on the above map. Incubus itself is in the middle of all this; Baker’s virtually physical position on the map in same is marked by a yellow ringed circle at its center.

Another layer of the anomaly comes from the fact that Baker cannot properly sleep upon the mattress he himself rezzed on this property, although he can sleep sitting up if necessary, as seen below. Tough to see if his eyes are actually closed, though, from this angle.

And then there’s a red flower of the same species closest to the small, wooden hovel on the property — might figure into this as well, or act as a reinforcement for the more violet of its species to the center and left here.

Baker then decides to visit the brown-ish mall mentioned before. Nothing out of the ordinary, it seems, just a run of the mill SL mall, this one specializing in wedding paraphernalia.

Then of course he must also pop over to the Crabwoo Reflection associated sims to see what-up there. This would be Boris (west) and Maklovar (east). Turns out a whole city may be in the making.

Is this the creation of *True* Crabwoo by chance??

In checking behind Baker’s Bloch today, there indeed seems to be something to all his keen insights. The Crabwoo Reflection is real, and also the Incubus microcosm mirroring this reflection near its center.

I suppose it goes without saying that they’ll be more on all this coming up soon enough. But I said it anyway!

Here’s the entrance to that new basement area to what was once known as the Pietmond South Gallery…

… as of today renamed the Lakeview Gallery. But with the same 4 exhibiting artists as the last incarnation of the former gallery in Pietmond. Er, Crabwoo.

Baker ponders over what to do with these 2 additional, smaller floors.

Hucka D.:

Shift back to Heterocera, eh?

bb:

It is, after all, probably the most beautiful of the mainland continents. Moreso that Jeogeot, although in the back of my mind I still think of that as home.

Hucka D.:

Don’t give up on Maebaleia quite yet. Blue Feather Douglas, as you know now, went to Nowtown. Did he actually transform into Little Robert Plant Variant?* After all, you have traces of this in the Brain Wash resort owner Lvpvs Writer. Kind of close to LRPV [Little Robert Plant Variant] don’t you think? And he was the one who set the Fyre Maven temple down where it is. He is the essential creator of your Nowtown in this variant reality.

bb:

I think all this has come along now because the Sunklands Initiative Project wasn’t really created in this particular reality where Blue Feather Douglas moves, I suppose you could put it, to the Jeogeot continent to escape the trap made for him, by his daughter perhaps, on Maebaleia. To study Maebaleia is to study the trap.

Hucka D.:

Good. Heterocera is freedom. But there’s always the link to Corsica.

bb:

Carrcasses — what’s next?

Hucka D.:

I believe we’re up to 5.

bb:

I see LOST. What of Mrs. Sea?

Hucka D.:

You are now beyond The Sea. Russian Matrix and all. Take that and play around with it more. Study it.

bb:

It is kind of a missing Pietmond energy.

Hucka D.:

Print out.

=====

* Hucka D. subsequently hinted to me that Blue Feather Douglas may have made this transformation through the Zeppelin Tube, which could have been hidden on the central Kashmir plot of Crabwoo. Makes sense — he simply inserted the found tube in his throat to turn it golden.

Lakeview art gallery: back on. May 24, 2011

Filed under: Lakeview — baker Blinker @ 6:58 am

Decided to test out the old Pietmond South Gallery in Lakeview before giving that land up. And I think I might have made it work, as best as it can there.

Disadvantages: obviously another fairly — well, I won’t say ugly but plain, let’s put it. Building, that is.

Advantages: very low on prims. I have over 500 prims left over to play with in the skybox, even adding in the landscaping efforts containing a number of higher prim vegetation. Super!

So it looks like I might be keeping the Lakeview property after all. Obvious new name for the gallery: Lakeview Gallery. A rooftop bar might follow.

Oh, and I have a basement area in this particular version, unlike with Pietmond South. This is due to the slope of the land, and how I had to position the building quite high to avoid going too far down into the ground in the back. Sometimes seeming disadvantages turn into advantages. The Pietmond South Gallery, in contrast, was on almost totally flat land.

I’m thinking I might put some kind of museum in this basement, but unsure yet. Things to plan for, which I like.

And of course I kept the Crabwoo property in the process.

Bloched. May 23, 2011

“So that’s what Blue Feather planned, although it’s gone awry.”

bb:

Thanks for that info, Hucka D. Our typeset seems to have shrunk over the weekend. Change in this way is bad. I feel like I’m sitting twice as far from the computer as before. Not as intimate. Like I’m whispering to you instead of talking to you. Do you feel it[ as well]?

Hucka D.:

You hold on please…

*****

bb:

There. Interesting.

Hucka D.:

Now we’re full screen.

bb:

Perhaps *more* intimate now (!)

Hucka D.:

Change is sometimes good.

bb:

What were we talking about? Oh, Ragitoo. Obviously, I think, I’ve found the precise location. Or very close.

Hucka D.:

Blue Feather [Douglas]was attempting to trick you into buying the Fyre Maven land. But you fortunately resisted. Now is not the time to restore the premium account. Blue Feather wanted to take over the story of Little Robert Plant variant from the root[ as it were]. You have limited him to Crabwoo now.

bb:

We’re out of full screen now. And… we’re back.

Hucka D.:

Karoz, whose *granddaddy* after all is Blue Feather himself in a way, was designed to safely hike that mountain. He thought it would result in penetration of the mysteries of Rubidoo.* Instead it turned out to be Ragitoo, on the next stream over to the west. We can’t say the actual name of the stream here, but it is known.

bb:

Yes, this seems to be the heart of the mystery of that mountain and that village. Not only was Karoz designed to safely walk Granddaddy to not destroy vegetation and disturb wildlife but also to keep safe, like not falling off slippery rocks (!) Didn’t think about that “safely” part before.

Hucka D.:

It is the siren’s lure of the mountain. Come further up the stream, closer to the source. Waterfalls are even prettier up the next rocks. Come up, come up!

bb:

Is Blue Feather Douglas then satisfied?

Hucka D.:

No. You have blocked him into Maebaleia. He wishes to be free and go to Jeogeot. He wants freedom from the entrapping moon. Jeogeot’s moon, Mos Ainsley, is a part of the mainland itself. Maebaleia’s moon, The Moon, has been separated from that continent and the mainland. This was as designed.

bb:

By Gypsy… Blue Feather’s daughter; Karoz’s mother.

Hucka D.:

Yes. She took the mate of Biggie and secured him in her Sea of Despair, then the Sea of Tranquility and still guided by the Neil spirit. First man. She took you as well.

bb:

I’m not precisely understanding. Was Karoz born in Crabwoo? I’m guessing no.

Hucka D.:

Karoz was born on The Moon. He is the son of Gene Fade, the actor who plays Mossman in the Salad Bar Jack adventure movies. He is the son of Gypsy Purse, who also plays in those type of movies. Biggie 2 was brought to him as a sort of pet.

bb:

Were the 2 Biggies like the “E” and the “Schwa”?

Hucka D.:

That is correct. Front and back of one archetype.

bb:

Are they Maebaleia and Jeogeot themselves?

Hucka D. (after a pause):

That is correct.

bb:

Are they male and female?

Hucka D.:

Natha Neil was brought in to build a ship, since he was a builder of such and fairly good at it. Or available anyway. Just joking. He designed the Arab which might be the same as the Barracuda. But then again that might just be code for the two fish. Front and back again.

bb:

Let’s see: Barracuda on The Moon of Maebaleia, and Arab when it reaches Mos Ainsley of Jeogeot (?)

Hucka D. (after another pause):

Yes.

bb:

Very interesting… an angle I hadn’t thought of before. The Arab created Jeogeot itself?

Hucka D.:

*Yes.*

bb:

So it was designed as a correction…

Hucka D.:

So Blue Feather couldn’t get to it. He was banned from Jeogeot. He was stuck on the Dark Side of The Moon.
