Updates… May 15, 2010

Interesting sunset pattern on the Yeot landscape.

Official moving sign at the Blue Feather Gallery, Noru. Just fyi, the black backgammon piece below represents the unchosen Aotearoa location for the gallery. It doesn’t repreent Chilbo-Noru, which would be more in the middle between the two pieces.

Note: The Monastery of Felix Meritis is now no more. Just a vacant sink remains; it will be missed.

Things to do in Yeot before the June opening:

I’ve basically solved the teleporter situation. Only three Mark IV teleporters remain on the property as opposed to about 7 yesterday. These are at the House of Truth (formerly Sapphire’s House, supposedly), the Blue Feather Gallery itself, and then the Edwardston Station Gallery on the newer 2176 parcel. From the House of Truth you also have the option to teleport to the “Old House”, the larger of the two Victorian houses on the property (presently empty), The “Hard To Get To” Gallery, and lastly the Lake Shack with the great view of Nascera’s Ol’ Granny wriggling about in the small body of water known as, among other things, Floaty Pool. But in the last 3 locations, you have to teleport back to the House of Truth to use the property teleporters to get to any other location. I also installed additional teleporters at the Blue Feather Gallery to more easily access the Tower of TILE (above the main level of the Blue Feather Gallery), and also the basement of the gallery which still contains my Wheeler-Jasper collage series, as it does in the Noru version.

Again, the Tower of TILE is the new addition to the Blue Feather Gallery, a new centerpiece of sorts since it can be seen from most of the skybox, above the trees and such. I haven’t decided what pictures should be within yet… probably either some of my own photos relating to TILE, or else Edna’s photos relating to same. I’ll have to think about that more.

I’ve lined up another guest artist for the Yeot version of the Blue Feather Gallery. My anticipation is that they will control the main level of the gallery again, just like Natsha and Loki still do in Noru. This would include, again, the 3 attached patios on this level.

I’ve also installed the Big E on the property, although I haven’t decided if it will be open to the public again, as it was in some other locations. Probably will be, though, with a link to the Sunklands exhibit in the Edwardston Station Gallery (“Down The Rabbit Hole”). Should be fun to set up.

1 more structure is at the skybox: a small gothic house, kind of a small castle actually. It remains empty, or, better, “in ruins”.

(INSERT PICTURE)

So here’s a list of the structures on the property presently. Forgot to mention the ground cottage on the 2176, called Cwirky’s Cottage — just made that up, though:

Blue Feather Gallery (including, now, the Tower of TILE) — sky
Edwardston Station Gallery — sky
Big E — sky
Small Gothic Castle (ruins) — sky
House of Truth — ground
The Hard To Get To Gallery — ground
Old House (presently empty) — ground
Cwirky’s Cottage — ground
Lake Shack — ground

This is opposed to just 3 structures at the Noru property, or the Blue Feather Gallery, the Edwardston Station Gallery, and the House of Truth. And this doesn’t include the additional landscaping elements! Oh, and the addition of the Tower of TILE onto the Blue Feather Gallery itself. I’ve been doing some work.
