baker Blinker's Weblog

First and Second Life at least.

Present plans for now are to give up all of the Goremoor property except for the 1024 that The Table House sits upon, leaving me only with the additional 3584 in the heart of the Aotearoa sink. This will bring my tier down to the next lowest level, saving me 15 dollars for the month of August. Hmm. I’m going to start thinking about a personal history of the Jeogeot continent and perhaps Sunklands in particular. It is my green solution between opposites red and blue, and a two humped moss solution I might add. This was the meaning of the photographed items within Concreek’s The Flat the other week — mediating green between red and blue, just like with the Myst game. Jeogeot is the green.

“What is the last page?”

bb:

Thanks for showing up in the daylight, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

You’re welcome. It is Aotearoa. The heart. The first place you lived in Sunklands as Baker Blinker and Baker Bloch composite.

bb:

I’ve returned home. As much home as I’ll ever have in Second Life… My Second Lyfe.

Hucka D.:

Now you start to write the history. Now you start to write the book. “You forgot something.”

bb:

The final page.

Hucka D.:

Atrus is Jeogeot… sorry…

bb:

Atrus is Dr. Blood, the father of the red/blue sons.

Hucka D.:

Correct. We get out of turn sometimes. (smiles)

bb:

Correct. Right I mean. (smiles back)

Hucka D.:

Dr. Blood is in Aotearoa. Is he the same as Tin S. Man of Green Oz Valley in Herman Park? Your Herman Park?

bb:

Could very well be.

—–

Hucka D.:

Tin S. Man hid something at Tinsity[ there]. Yellow bricks. Gold bricks. A million dollars worth. Then moved to Million Dollar Hill next to the norris Stream for more safekeeping. It is the original Yellow Brick Road… YBR. But it belongs to Alma, not Ozma.

bb:

It is The Table (!)

Hucka D.:

Correct[ enough].

—–

Hucka D.:

Ozma[ or Alma] had a magical patch of land but nothing to glue it together as a whole. She had 4 separate kingdoms and a central kingdom, a stem to the 4 leaves. This sat underneath a floating tree high up in the sky, that only the gifted could see. Way up there. (Hucka D. looks up into the sky himself, squinting.)

bb:

Could you… I mean could Alma[ or Ozma] see it?

Hucka D.:

Yes. She was the only one. Or one of three. Or two. No, three. There’s Ozma[ or Alma], the Wizard, and Glenda.

bb:

So The Road helped stitch the formerly separate kingdoms together.

Hucka D.:

It wasn’t only yellow. There were several colors… fuchsia, mauve, lavender. There was even a Lavender Hill that the lavender road ran over. Periwinkle as well. Steel blue. Ockra. Lots of colors.

bb:

To get serious[ about The Table], “David Watts” was the first.. well, that’s not true. When did OWZ and Dr. Blood first begin to communicate and collaborate?

Lemmon:

Pumpkintwisters.

bb:

Thank you Lemmon.

Lemmon:

You’re welcome. (he belches loudly)

bb:

And thanks for that as well, I suppose.

Lemmon (low and quick to return):

Empire Strikes B(r?)ack.

bb:

So how did this come about?

Hucka D.:

Two… you take over Dr. Blood.

Dr. Blood:

Two… sorry One became Two there. Or actually Two became One as well. Depending on how you look at it.

bb:

And you were in the middle.

Dr. Blood:

Middlesboro middle. (pause)

bb:

Interesting that [delete name] is mentioned in Floydada, near the beginning.

Lemmon:

Pumpkintwisters.

bb:

[Delete name], yeah.

(Lemmon sneezes very loudly and exits)

Marty:

We saw the writing on The Wall and we knew we had to help. Beatles with an “A” to Beetles like the insects. Lemmon was saved.

Hucka D.:

They had a mythology The Beatles needed. So they started over as The Beetles. It’s in The Anthology, after all.

bb:

Pietmond.

OWZ:

Centerville, yeah. Middlesboro. Where’d Lemmon go? Lemmon was a cool guy, but, heck, I was a cool guy too. Now we’re gone, baker b. We have only our music and you to help us figure it all out. Our mythologies.

bb:

What was it I said? 20% of all flower names can be found in the lyrics to Kinks’ songs.

Hucka D.:

You start with Village Green and work your way out. Time is running away from you. Time to act. Time to move.

bb;

Thank you.
