“We’ll leap right into it. Ticky Bill — he was a higher dimensional being. He was Corsica Prime turned inside out. Pennsylvania and Elephant in one.”

I’m picking up that Pietmond is related to the Town of Spectre in Big Fish, to bring in another movie or TV parallel, Hucka D. A clue: Edward Bloom first entered the town through the “long way”, and Peter may have entered Pietmond through same (the longest way in town, termed Long Way itself). And then we have the race aspect: Spectre, perhaps like Pietmond at the time, was a lily white town devoid of color — except for the Colgates as you pointed out.

Hucka D.:

They own the spacecraft. The UFO.

bb:

Interesting. I’ll think about that. But to get to another point, Pietmond couldn’t have been named that at the time, since it was named for Peter and he had just shown up.

Hucka D.:

There were 2 Peters that became confused with each other later on. Peter The So So and Peter The Rock.

bb:

Cryptic. What happened to the town when the labyrinth was uncovered?

Hucka D.:

They were introduced to color beyond lilywhite. TILE was born. Peter knew what it was because of his schooling. Chesaw made sure he had the best education. Oxford Shoe.

bb:

What was the name of the town before it became Pietmond, then?

Hucka D.:

Oxford Shoe.

bb:

Was it a head trip[, then]?

Hucka D.:

A little bit more, then end. Ticky Bill paid no bills, owned no house. Yet he was established in Lime House, which may or may not have been a part of Pietmond itself. Ticky Bill taught Peter about Corsica and its ins and outs. Peter then knew of (2) sinks outside of Sunklands, and he knew one day he had to visit there. He found nothing in Orions Vale; Chasm Deep was a bit different because, at the bottom, was Wheeler, who was a teacher of The Timescape. There was a co-author, but he was unbilled. This was Ticky Bill.*

bb:

Thanks.

* a possible implication is that Ticky Bill helped discover the tachyon.
