Honestly, I can’t even remember where I took this. A small pool in a concavity somewhere on Jeogeot, I suppose. Maybe west coast? Just can’t remember… sorry.

Ah, yes. Parktown. Boyd Doghouse, mayor/king/emperor of the still burgeoning Jeogeot metropolis, was incredibly generous in setting aside space to promote the Blue Feather Gallery and, in particular, the “Jeogeot Through Art and Word” exhibit in the Parktown Gallery. Thanks a bunch Boyd!!

Amazing landscape on a 3 sim long island in western Jeogeot. I have no mythological name for this island — as yet! — but it’s in the middle of the deep channel that splits this western “claw” of Jeogeot in two. To the north lies an approximately 36 sim island (also unnamed) that forms the nw corner of the continent. To the southwest of the island, and just across the channel, is the larger community of Sternberg discussed several times in this blog.

The cone shaped mtn. in the distance is called Buffalo Run Hill according to the property description at its top, where the elevation is 110 meters. It stands near the center of the island itself. The mountain Baker stands upon to take the snapshot looking toward Buffalo Run Hill (below) is a larger and more spread out massif topped by “Perfect Harmony”, a parcel which advertises, “dancing and romancing in a mystical mountain-top atmosphere.” Elevation there: about 125 meters.

Oh, woops!, wait… “Perfect Harmony” is on a mountain directly *south* of the island in question (and southwest of Buffalo Run Hill), and not on the island itself. Instead the mountain Baker hovers above here, similarly shaped, contains largely abandoned land. Its elevation appears to be about 120 meters, with a lone house sitting on top that Karoz (checking behind Baker Bloch today) cannot enter because it requires an age verification check. The mountain lies in both the Buffalo Run and Silver Creek sims.

Some ruins in this channel, to the north of the island I believe.

What I’ll call Star Waterfall, for obvious reasons, just to the north of the island, on land called Skyhighatry Designs and/or Molecular Estates. The land description: “Anjin & Elzbiet Meili’s playground, home of the NEW Sculpty Garden, and Sweet Sculpties Sandbox.” I personally think sculpties are super cool — who doesn’t, really — but they frustrate me because of the time it takes to completely rez in. In the meantime, you just get this amorphous blob or zigzaggy shape that makes no sense, as you try to guess what is forming. But, still, they’re cool, and part of the wave of the future of SL obviously in some form or another.

To give an example, those stars in front of the waterfall took about 30 seconds at least to fully form so that I could take a proper enough picture.

Another waterfall on the same stream, further into the hills. This whole area has to be the most mountainous part of Jeogeot, forming many dramatic rises from Linden water.

We are also *now* quite close to the Nowtown/Zen City region, and the old stomping grounds of Little Robert Plant Variant.

Very top of the waterfall pictured above. I like the way you can see into the much lower landscape just over the top of the falls.

And, yes, we’re now in Nowtown itself, on the other side of the very same mountain. This is the lava flow that heads down into the Fyre Maven temple where Plant worshipped as a child. Still don’t know whether the Fyre Maven itself was some type of creature or just an old, wisened sage of some sort. I don’t think Plant knows either. Should talk to him again sometime in this blog. Catch up.

Baker Bloch relaxing in the Toonie Territory home of the Smurfs (land descrip. again) near the eastern top of the double humped mountain. On the other hump is the Nowtown castle with lava stream issuing forth just beneath it. Let me get you some elevation figures just to be complete. Eastern hump (Houndsfield sim): about 130 meters. Actually both humps of this mountain, east and west, are at about this same elevation.

Parktown keeps expanding and improving. Watch out Chilbo!

Advertisement on Route 10 just east of Parktown for the city’s zoo. So both it and Chilbo have zoos… hmmm, wonder how many such civic zoos there are in SL?

And then a new and fairly large gallery has opened in-between Chilbo and Parktown on Route 10 called Gallerie Octaviana, run by the aoctavia1 group. As Karoz is checking today, looks like pictures are still being added; gallery still developing. Nice to see such a handsome art venue establishing itself near both burgs. Will keep monitoring progress.

But the highlight of this particular evening’s exploring had to be this Alice in Wonderland themed house/ride, just to the east of Noru in Nari. Some picture of the exciting ride follow…

Thoughts… August 26, 2010

Filed under: Uncategorized — baker Blinker @ 9:51 am

I’m “stuck” in Noru for at least 2 more months, most likely. It’s lovely, and in an ideal world I’d keep it forever. However, it would go against my trend of sticking to places longer than 4 months. Actually, let’s see, I’ve been living there almost 5 now. The current state of the gallery — I’m going to go ahead and leave it there for at least 2 months, and treat it at least like a regular exhibit of mine. Then after that I don’t know. Maybe attempt another 10×10 gallery, if only for kicks. Look back on former gallery structures — what designs haven’t I used. Maybe even, gasp, head over to the Ivory Tower of Prims and take some lessons. But I still feel that at my core I’m not suppose to be heavily involved in building in virtual reality. There are so many good builders already present here. I need to, topmost, explore, and then just take buildings I find here and there, as I’ve been doing, and just kind of piddle around with them.

I *really* like the gallery as is, though. I just don’t think it’s going to attract any attention. Of course I’m not going to make any money off it, especially since I’m not charging anything for the works. No, after this, thinking of repackaging the 10×10 in some new gallery beyond the cube version and stacked rectangle version of the Edwardston Station Gallery. Need to polish up documents about the 10×10 (Floydada, Floydadada). So I’ll give a dead line for the current version of the Blue Feather Gallery as the end of October, maybe sooner. I’ve certainly already made some interesting contacts because of the exhibit and revised gallery.

Another idea is that at the end of this exhibit, I’ll just abandon all my Noru land and start over again, or reduce to just a 512 there — I know where, I think. Maybe just have a really small 10×10 gallery in the ne corner of Noru.

Let us continue:

Watched by empty silhouettes
Who close their eyes but still can see

Blind like Lily White Lillith, then. Kate’s real name is Lily.

Let’s move to Shock The Monkey.

Hucka D.:

Hi. Well, it’s about shocking something blind and perhaps deaf and dumb as well back to life, to the world of the living and the breathing. A tool must be found to bridge the gap between death and life, as in channeling. In this case it is sign language — “Water.”

bb:

That simple, eh.

Hucka D.:

Ape the ape. Copy what you’re given by rote. Rote learning. Monkey learning. And you know this deaf/blind/dumb person is Jack as well. After the crash. So it is about teaching Jack once more. Jack must escape the wheel by understanding the wheel. The fire burns in the center.

bb:

Hmmm… Shutting everything down means turning off the senses of sight, of sound, and the ability to create speech. Shutting down a movie production. “Shutting everything down.”

Hucka D.:

Then time becomes a loop, an endless repeat. Like Groundhog Day. The Bill. How to break out of it?

*****

bb:

It’s the giant dwarf that shuts it all down. Or commands so. Opposites in one body. Green Giant… Red Dwarf. Green and red, then.

Maybe a Psycho reference since Normantown and Perkins are nearby, and Anthony Perkins played Norman Bates in that movie. And I went to school with a Norman Perkins.

Hucka D.:

You’re talking about Shock [delete state].

bb:

Yes. I also think of Gurdjieff’s system of shocks within an octave of psychological evolution. Letter Gap is also nearby. Reference to gaps between the 4 macro-letters of TILE?

http://www.gilmerfreepress.net/index.php/site/C88/

What the f—?

Hucka D.:

Letter gap, yes.

*****

Hucka D.:

Shocking the monkey is learning to play and read and compose correct and well music. And unifying Europe as a whole. Learning the gift of love. Love bridges inner and outer worlds.

*****

bb:

I wonder if the center of 1 Pink, being blue at times, is a symbol of the Federation, the central country of Mythos.

Hucka D.:

I don’t like talking about Mythos.

bb (continuing):

It is the Rat Hole, then. Vortextra.

Hucka D.:

Mummm… but: yes.

bb:

Creating good and well music, unifying Europe perhaps, equates with learning about the mysteries of The Island through The Map, which is also portrayed as blue. As seen in black light.

Hucka D.:

It is seeing without seeing.

bb:

And it, perhaps, is a map of 1 Pink as a whole. Something I’m still working on even today, 3 1/2 years after the start.

Hucka D.:

It is a Big Sink.

bb:

We have, at the start of the central of 3 regions, a car wreck. A past life is killed off. This is actually a fusion of *3* separate car wrecks — can I go into details?

Hucka D.:

The first is Chance, the second is Blue, the 3rd is Drive. Blue drives chance.

bb:

In this center, a bigger picture is seen as a former life is left behind. Federation… Rat. Beyond Wazob.

Hucka D.:

I suppose. Back to 1 Pink.

bb:

Shocking the monkey is shocking the person trapped in a time/space loop back to the living, the sighted world. The sounded world. The blue cube is opened. Blue Feather Cube. A key is found in a pocketbook from the far future. Science Fiction key.

bb:

LOST Season 2 ends. Exploded hatch door lands on beach.

Hucka D.:

Let’s move on[ buddy]. First let’s backtrack to “Big Time”. This is about a person whose ambition is too big for the town he grew up in. In ways, this is Phil Connors in GDay, confined to the small town of Punxsutawney, perhaps forever — he doesn’t know. Certainly seems that way.

bb:

Certainly seems that way to him.

Hucka D.:

But then as he learns the tricks and advantages of time loops, he states that it is starting to grow on him at a certain point in GD. The town. The town is growing to fit his ambition as a newsperson. He’s seeing that he can gnaw through time to his seeming advantage. But only love will lead him out.

Pietmond Chronicles?

“We begin.”

bb:

Thanks Hucka D. The chronicles, whatever they will be called, will consist of another blog within a blog, like we did last year about this same time. We are going to determine why Peter came to SL and what his Big Sink project was when he came.

Hucka D.:

In short he was impressed with Tronesis… saw that he actually did it in a probable way. Better than an actual movie, because heavily coded. Ram equals Lamb[ and so on]. He understands that the Lamb album should have been mixed up that way. 2nd is 1st, 4th is 2nd, 3rd is 3rd, and 4th is 1st. TILE.

bb:

So he applies, is accepted [above] [Ian, Robert], and whomever…

Hucka D.:

No. Those were the other candidates.

bb:

How about Barrett himself? Syd… or SID?

Hucka D.:

It was destined to be Peter because of the Cross of the Lamb. He had to exit the cross. And so he did[ at 1974].

bb:

Another idea I had is that he built the structure that I call Gallery 7/10 to create the “time standing still” point at its center. This would equate with “Lost Cane“. In other words, Richard Alpert. Timelessness.

Hucka D.:

Correct.

bb:

From this point of stillness he effected the Sunklands sinking. Sink sank sunk.

Hucka D.:

He created the Big Sink.

bb:

And all other sinks.

Hucka D.:

Yes.

bb:

Oh, and that brought in the plane. This magical structure… a Magic Square[of 3] after all.

Hucka D.:

Yes. Definitely.

bb (quoting song):

“Time stood still.”

Hucka D. (continuing thought):

Then eagle flew out of the night. The Hurley Bird.

bb:

Can we say that?

Hucka D.:

Why not.

bb:

Grabbing bags when someone comes to take them home… the bags with the dynamite in them. Locke is dragged across the jungle by the smoke monster, the “machinery.” (quoting again): “I was feeling part of the machinery.”

Hucka D.:

You better watch that section again.

bb:

Tronesis, then also FMM, then…. well, the big one. Big Sink. (pause) Leaving bags is same as Locke leaving his bag [with dynamite] and going home through the monster. A test, as he put it. Jack saved him.

Hucka D.:

Jack kept him from becoming Peter Gabriel. It was not a lock[ that this was so].

bb:

He kept him from, er, pursuing a solo career. Gabriel… Solo. Lost Corners. (pause again). So the Hurley Bird, the “eagle”… all had to listen to that bird, had no choice in the matter even. So it called, “Hurley.”

Hucka D.:

But there…

bb:

Sorry. But there is another solo man: Hackett. A seeming mistake was made in the middle of a song. Numbers pressed. But maybe one day… not pressed. The plane crashes. All are dead.

Hucka D.:

Yes. No survivors.

bb:

Peter set up the Magic Square of 3 construct… my Gallery 7/10, creating a center of timelessness.

Example of type of small pools I like to dot my own lands with. This from near the center of Mieum, a little north of Hanja Infohub land. For some reason, you don’t see a lot of these tiny pools around — most prefer the bigger variety.

What I found to be a quite interesting “outsider” build in ___ on the Atoll Continent (aka Heterocera) in what’s called the Kingdom of Yaknetistan, in the Bedstraw sim. Half completed buildings on stilts set at odd angles to each other — perfect in itself.

Looking down at where he was sitting in the picture above. This is yet another type of Heterocera gorge just not found on Jeogeot that I can think of — maybe 1 or 2 along the Korean Channel can be classified as such. I’ll have to make a fuller study of Atoll continent terrain anomalies at a later date.

One of several rusty planes flying around the property.

Another largely asymetrical village in Datana, near an inland Linden lake. This land is for sale.

Karoz beginning his dances at the Crow’s Foot near Noru. He cut the rug for approx. an hour there Mon. night. Great fun — about 10 avatars at the event in toto. He plans to go back; some kind of electronica music playing this particular evening.

So so… August 23, 2010

“You’re starting to get the “it” factor, baker b. Nice.”

bb:

Thanks, Hucka D. Peter the So So comes to SL in 1974; figures out the movie he wanted to make with Lamb would be better served by transferring the energy into Tronesis; creates Sunklands…

Hucka D. (correcting):

He was called back. Ean Andursen did not want to become a part of this project in that way. He helped in other ways. Peter The SoSo filled in. But Ean was an applicant… went through the interview process.

bb:

How about Robert Fripp? Or Robert Fripp Variant?

Hucka D.:

Yes (pause).

bb:

Peter the SoSo realized he was a fill in, in ways, for Ean… I mean Ian. But he was still The King. And the Queen was Sapphire, right?

Hucka D.:

The Queen welcomed The King to SL and made it His Second Lyfe. This is true welcoming.

bb:

Here’s also an important subject: Peter the SoSo caused the wreck of a certain plane in Noru. He did this by not entering the code into a certain computer, thereby unblocking the electromagnetic force underneath Noru for a moment, just enough to draw in the plane.

Hucka D.:

And freeze up time. The clocks stopped at 222…

bb:

This has something to do with the Mos Ainsley transmission, which ends with 2E2E after a 108 character line divided on the Mos Ainsley screens into three 36 character lines. The 4th line containing the 2E2E remains separate.

Hucka D.:

This transmission has to do with Aotearoa and the Tui bird. 2E2E.

bb:

And maybe the Tui bird with the opposite of the Kiore Rat.

Hucka D.:

Yes.

****

bb:

Weird, Hucka D. Check this out (!) Sun King… sunking.

http://www.sunkingdiscs.com/browseproducts/DG-Aotearoa-Tui-150g.HTML

And it’s like a Tron frisbee shaped id-disk.

Hucka D.:

Nice. Bleedthrough. Good. Back to Peter…

bb:

We should talk of Pietmond, then. Peter created this mythology of a Rabbit God, according to my notes…

Hucka D.:

Yes.

bb (continuing):

And made Peter’s Mound, and then the Peter’s Mound community around it, which eventually became Aotearoa’s Pietmond. Piet Mondrian was also drawn in at the time.

Hucka D.:

It was a big project. Big Sink became the last sink, which was always the most important for a while. Beginning with the one with The Bill within. That was the first Peter the SoSo was involved in. Brother John. Lemon. Number 9. 2E2E. Then he was super excited when the *big* Big Sink moved in. Karoz was commisioned to create the fuchsia diamond, with many facets — well beyond 32.

bb:

But it started as 32. A 3rd Lyfe within 2nd Lyfe. In Big Sink… that’s where it all started. And Peter The SoSo created Big Sink and Sunklands as a whole from Noru through his equivalent to Gallery 7/10. The catastrophe, felt in our world, our US, as the New Madrid Earthquake. Hold on…

Hucka D.:

OK.

*****

bb:

So in my notes I have it that Peter came to SL to search for true mate Lilly White Lillith. His Eve to his Adam. Hidden in the Parktown sewers? Anyway, looks like Lilly Lillith may stand for LL itself, the Linden Labs grid.

Hucka D.:

The Queen becomes like a chess queen, as in the Bluebells sim Queen. The one The Brak King was with at Temple Farm. Still is.

bb:

8 total tiles, then, like the 8 rows of a chess board. A pawn moving from row 2 to row 8 can become a queen. If Queen represents the sims around the Hanja Infohub grassland of 4 sims, at least as a U-shaped figure, then Noru is the Queen, and perhaps Parktown… and maybe Crow’s Foot. But perhaps not Chilbo.

Hucka D.:

Chilbo is more complicated. Parktown is more atuned to this because it is more connected to Hanja. Yes, the Queen could be said to have hidden in its sewer system. OK.

bb:

The Orion’s Belt relationship of Chilbo-Crow’s Foot-Parktown is a manifestation of the King, who is Peter the SoSo. In England, The King has it on his uniform in duplicate. LINK.

A specific point where Peter the So So could be said to have entered the LL grid is the middle of Tronesis, where Ram becomes the same as Lamb. Peter has the “it’ power, the user power. He becomes Tron/Flynn fused to follow Lily White Lillith. He manifests at the Hanja Infohub.

The story of the 2nd part of Tronesis is the story of Peter Gabriel of 1974 in SL. This is where his movie becomes my movie… our movie. US.

(joined in progress)

“The pond was called the footprint because of that.”

bb:

Fascinating Hucka D. Hucka Doobie.

Sapphire:

It’s also said that the pond sometimes shrinks to the size of an actual, normal sized foot. Remember, Hucka Doobie?

Hucka Doobie (calmly):

Not really. But I’ll take your word.

bb:

We find ourselves at the top of The Annex, staring out toward the Hanja Infohub. I’m glad I bought this land.

Sapphire (sipping tea, then laying cup back down on table all are sitting at):

It’s a nice view. I never got to enjoy it. The Infohub wasn’t built until I was… derezzed.

(Sapphire looked sad. I realized I’ve never seen her face so sad looking. In fact, I’ve never seen her face! I looked over at Hucka Doobie, the Bee. Pretty familiar, in contrast. Because he is an avatar I created, taken over by the spirit of Charles Nelson Blinkerton almost 2 1/2 years ago now. He hasn’t changed a bit… never got his eyes that he so desired at one time. I don’t think he thinks about them very much any longer. Nor Hurla Dontbee… thankfully.)

Hucka Doobie:

Thanks for inviting us. It’s good to be relatively 3d and plastic every now and then. Like a toy.

Sapphire:

It’s been so long for me.

(How to describe Sapphire? She’s not quite rezzing in for me.)

(bb attempted to focus… Sapphire was to his right, Hucka Doobie to the left. All were sipping tea at various times. The 3 collages completed this spring were about the only other thing in the room. The walls were 90 percent transparent to the north and the west, giving view into the Infohub region and its vast grassland.)

bb (speaking to Hucka Doobie):

Maybe this is where we can hold the SID’s 1st Oz interview, the next one.

Hucka Doobie (sitting down teacup once more, and after a pause):

It’s nice. (looking at view)

bb:

Did I tell you I met someone here this morning, right when I logged in, Hucka Doobie? I believe she had just come down from this room.

Hucka Doobie (looking at me and then Sapphire):

Can you not focus in on Sapphire still? She’s crystal clear to me.

(I looked in Sapphire’s direction. Tried to meet a gaze. Wasn’t coming to me. “No”, I relied)

Hucka Doobie:

Too bad. She wanted to show up… she desired strongly to be here in this world, at this time.

bb:

I think I should check out more of the links of the woman avatar who was here. Her picks and such.

Hucka Doobie:

Always be aware where leads might come from.

bb (turning to Sapphire):

Are you sad, Sapphire?

Sapphire:

No. I am glad to be here.

(I detected a smile, but still not focused in. I looked back at Hucka Doobie, who smiled a bit as well, then. They were being patient with me. Impressive, I think. We sit in silence for a bit, calmly sipping our respective teas.)

Sapphire:

Peter will show up again soon.

TEXT SOON.

The Annex August 21, 2010

Filed under: Hucka D.,Norum,Sapphire,Uncategorized — baker Blinker @ 8:36 am

“OK can you guys tell me about the new property, then? The Annex — as I’m calling it right now?”

Hucka D.:

OK, guys.

bb:

Hi.

Hucka D.:

Hello.

Sapphire:

Hi.

bb:

Hey.

Sapphire:

The Annex is just what it is.

bb:

I have a feeling it fits in with the Karoz-Sapphire story, Sapphire.

Sapphire:

Peter turned out to be a less than totally satisfactory neighbor to Karoz in Noru, after he left the bosom of his mother. Me. He began to think of Noru as a whole, a microcosm of a macrocosm. This was after the Linden grid had already passed through the land. Chilbo may have already started, even. Karoz began to identify with Chilbo more than Norum — wait, no. He first attempted to establish Norum as Noru. The Perch, he called [that place].

bb:

Thanks for that. So this is a place he could establish independence from both his mother and then Peter as well.

Sapphire:

Yes. This was Karoz’s place. A tower of sorts.

Sapphire:

It is what it is.

bb:

Yeah.

Hucka D.:

Ironically, that’s where Peter first established his home in Noru [ne corner], before he moved to the nw corner. He came from the Hanja Infohub initially, after all. He was a giant. Like the bad guy in Tron who received all the powers of the MCP and became huge.

bb:

Was he a bad guy? Peter, I mean.

Hucka D. (in return):

Was Brother John a bad guy?

Sapphire:

I would add that if he was so at one time, then he changed. When Karoz met him he was not evil, quote unquote.

bb:

What of the Town Called Panic, and the horse which unites the Cowboy and the Indian?

Sapphire:

Hoofingstoof was the Horse.
