Loose Notes… June 3, 2010

The Blue Feather Gallery has reopened with new guest artist Cristian Rexie. Very glad to have him! More on that soon.

Know I will [re]build some kind of Temple of TILE in Rubi but not sure what yet. Have been reading over blog posts starting August 2008, when I first moved to Rubi. Much information to absorb (!). Probably should just stop creating blog posts for a while and read and take notes. But it’s so fun to come here and chat with Hucka D. and friends, hehe.

I may have a blog space issue. Had to delete some old post drafts in order to even create this new post. Not sure what the problem is, since my stats say I’ve used only about 1/3rd my allotted space. May be time for an upgrade from free (?)

Carrcass-? is coming up soon. May take quite a long time. Have to analyze… well, better not go there.

Surprised that now Noru seems more important than Rubi. When I just the other day bought property in the 2 sims, was certain it was the other way around, and even had my Noru properties back on the market for a couple of hours. Glad I didn’t sell now!

As Hucka D. would say, I seem to have stopped spinning. Yeot balanced out Aotearoa, or now does. A biking tour of Jeogeot may be next?

Let’s bring in Hucka D., if he wishes.

*****

Sapphire:

I lived in the center of Norum. I lived with Peter there. To the immediate north was Karoz, my son. Our son. Gene Fade and Grassy Noll were around. Everywhere was woods and gardens. The major mayor was [delete name].

bb:

Hi Sapphire. What was the size of Norum in comparison to Chilbol? And did they border in those days?

Sapphire:

You had to move [the House of Truth] more in the middle of Noru, toward your older home there, in order to pick up more the resonance of old Norum. Do you feel it better now? I know you do. The woods, the path, purifies. Death and resurrection through the small cemetery.

bb:

I was going to ask about that. Sapphire, who is buried there. Avatars?

Sapphire:

Aliens. They directed it to not be kept up. It will be restored sometime, but not as new. As old.

bb:

These aliens… are they the same as Ancients, Sapphire?

Sapphire:

*Yes.*

bb:

I remember Baker Bloch setting up a small cemetery for the Ancient, Mr. Low, back just after he was born in this virtual reality. Probably the same Arcadia Asylum stones… lemme check.

https://bakerblinker.files.wordpress.com/2009/04/snapshot53_002.jpg

Yes, they are. And the orange chair Baker Bloch sits upon in that photograph turns out to be the tombstone of the 4th alien, Mr. Low.

https://bakerblinker.files.wordpress.com/2008/02/snapshot58_002edit2.jpg

So are these even the *same* Aliens or Ancients, Sapphire?

Sapphire (not directly answering bb’s question):

The aliens came, they built or designed Norum, then they left. Died. But they didn’t die, see. It’s a fake, a forgery. Like the King’s crop circle.

bb:

Some people think aliens created those crop circles, Sapphire.

Sapphire:

Humans are the aliens.

bb:

OK… so who lived in them, what was it, oh yes, *Ravenwood* Cottage beside the cemetery. I think you’re going to say it was the caretaker.

Sapphire:

Yes sir. Baker Bloch was the caretaker, in fact. Last P.

bb:

Last “P” in the pod, as Hucka D. has stated.

Sapphire:

Ravenwood is a Second Life sim, a memorial sim as well. Predicted in Baker Bloch’s collages.

bb:

Those are actually my collages, Sapphire. Baker Bloch is *in* some of them. Like Jasper 03… I assume this is one of the collages you’re talking about. That’s the original woods of the Linden Memorial Island.

Sapphire:

Put that collage in the cottage to remember her by.

bb:

Esbum [Michigan], you mean.

Sapphire:

She is the caretaker [as well?].

bb:

So Sapphire, you lived in the blue Victorian house, Baker Bloch lived in the caretaker’s cottage, the Ravenwood Cottage. Or maybe Esbum… I’m a bit confused there.

But Jasper 03, “St. Michigan”, is in the cottage now. I’m not sure it really fits there, though.

Sapphire:

Baker Bloch originally came to this world to be a caretaker for a cemetery. Yet when the 4th,, the Master, moved into the cemetery himself, Baker was freed from this slavery. Once all the aliens, the Ancients, were dead, there was no need for him to stick around and weed and such. Things fell into disrepair, the cottage abandoned. Although the new Noru property was settled after the old, in Timescape it’s actually the other way around. The Noru Wood became haunted.

bb:

It’s strange that I buy property in the 2 sims I know best in SL, and 2 associated with woods, Rubi obviously, but I think Noru in a more subtle manner as well.

Sapphire:

When… (pause)

Hucka D.:

Hi baker b.

bb:

Hi Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

When Sapphire moved to Norum, it was virgin forest all around. She hated to cut down even one virtual tree. The path was a compromise. The path extended through the woods first, all the way from what is now your gallery sign up to the top of Noru. Further clues can be found on Olando’s property.

bb:

Thanks, Hucka D. This is the old Noru path or trail, then.

Hucka D.:

It was the path connecting Sapphire’s home near the center of Norum with Chilbol to the south.

bb:

But Chilbo’s sidewalks weren’t there.

Hucka D.:

Not really, no. More wilderness.

bb:

I have a feeling, as well, that Norum thought Sapphire’s house occupied the highest point on the Jeogeot continent. But it was considerably less high (at 140 meters).

Hucka D.:

Then when Karoz bought his property to the north of Sapphire’s, the path was extended to his land, his house. The original state of your original Noru property indicates a truer assessment of what it looked like. Karoz was Peter.

bb:

I’m not sure that’s correct, Hucka D. Sapphire said, or indicated, that Peter was her husband or lover.

Hucka D.:

No, he was her father. Wait…

bb:

OK.

*****

Hucka D.:

What is confusing us — OK me — is the subtle relationship of Noru and Whitehead Crossing. Whitehead Crossing is the stronger of the 2 realities. A man, an old whitehead like you will become, lived there. Still does, really. You are looking for a path in the woods there as well.

bb:

I am indeed.

Hucka D.:

The 2 are related [is all I’m saying].

*****

bb:

Maybe *Whitehead* took care of the Norum cemetery, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

There was not much to do, so he used his time for other things. He went to Sunklands.

bb:

With Peter, perhaps? Peter the Good?

Hucka D.:

You know someone lived in that cottage. Someone old and gray and white.

bb:

And…

Hucka D.:

It was me.

bb:

No way. No way!

Hucka D.:

Not really.

bb:

Had me going!

Hucka D.:

Yes. There’s something about that deeper pool and waterfall as well. Shallow pool choked with eel grass to the west, without fish, and deep pool to the east, with several schools of fish. But not a pool, still, big enough for the VILE fish. Not an official, Linden pool, then, according to the classification rules.

bb:

Did VILE *want* to move here?

Hucka D.:

*Yes.* He wanted to follow Sapphire to the interior.

bb:

Did he *try* to live in that pool, Hucka D.?

Hucka D.:

*Yes.* Briefly.

bb:

Did he, I don’t know, *die* there?

Hucka D.:

No. I don’t think so.

bb:

How long was Sapphire in Yeot, and in Norum?

Hucka D.:

We better end. Thank you.

bb:

Thanks.
