“My decisions aren’t through yet…” May 25, 2010

bb:

My decisions aren’t through yet, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

I sent you the Rabbit Hole messages tonight. Did you get them?

bb:

No, the owner of the Rabbit Hole, the Blackmount half anyway, sent responses to some of my old posts on the subject, Hucka D. Is that what you’re talking about?

Hucka D.:

You must go back. (pause)

bb:

To Sunklands you mean. Re-create Pietmond.

Hucka D.:

Yes. (pause) While you have a chance.

bb:

Hucka D., I just got set up in Yeot and all. Great place! I’m not sure I want to move. My first instinct says — no, don’t.

Hucka D.:

You have to return. You have more to learn about Sunklands.

bb:

Maybe the responses are a signal that the mysteries are being wrapped up in Sunklands, much like the Maebaleia half of the hole is wrapped [sealed] in plastic… has been. That chapter of my SL existence may be other [sic?].

Hucka D.:

You know in your heart it isn’t. Sunklands is closer to Chilbo. You’d have more connections. The rabbits hark.

bb:

But if I leave Yeot, then *Yeot* may never be available again. There’s this really peculiar tug of war going on between Yeot and Aotearoa.

Hucka D.:

Not too peculiar. Since they are *the same*.

bb:

As you’ve mentioned. Like black and white rocks on a balance, you’ve compared it to. LOST is over now, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

You must stop spinning. It’s over.

bb:

I get the (further) impression that Aotearoa is the black rock, Hucka D. Black Rock. (pause) It’s all very metaphysical.

Hucka D.:

I’ve left you more clues. Log in first.

bb:

Alright.

*****

bb:

I didn’t see any stand-outish type messages, Hucka D. But I think it’s been reinforced that I should stay in Yeot.

Hucka D.:

*Until* you really decide, you should stay in Noru. Give Natsha and Loki their extra month there.

bb:

That could be.

Hucka D.:

Do it for the blog if nothing else. Or do it for me (smiles).

bb:

Alright, Hucka D. the Bee. (smiles back).

Hucka D.:

Good. You’ll stay in Noru a couple more weeks. Wait for this all to resolve — see what happens.

bb:

Suppose so.

Hucka D.:

Do you want to speak to Sapphire a bit?

bb:

Sure, why not.

Hucka D.:

Sapphire, come on in.

Sapphire:

I hear… dang it… I’ve heard through the grapevine. Hard to even say…

bb:

You mad at me, Sapphire?

Sapphire:

*Yes*. You are leaving Yeot??

bb:

Well, no I don’t think so.

Sapphire:

Aotearoa is a *shadow*. Of *course* it’s going to react to Yeot, like a shadow would. You must stay on the east, unfallen side of the continent, after all.

bb:

Admittedly, Sapphire, I can’t decide which one is a shadow and which one is real (between Yeot and Aotearoa).

Sapphire:

Well of course Yeot’s the real one. It has water — stability point. It has the fish now — thanks! (dripping with sarcasm). It is the atom…

bb (interrupting):

What of Pietmond, Sapphire? The ancient community? I must find out about that.

Sapphire:

You can explore all about that in *Yeot*. You don’t have to *live* in Sunklands… pheh.

bb:

I’m surprised at this reaction, Sapphire.

Sapphire:

Drastic times…

bb:

Right. What does Hucka D. think about all this? Actually, in re-reading the first part of this post, it appears Hucka D. is really wanting me to go back to Aotearoa, Sapphire.

[Sapphire doesn’t answer.]

bb:

Hucka D.? Sapphire seems to have left the scene.

Hucka D.:

I wasn’t expecting that either. Sorry about that.

bb:

So who’s right?

Hucka D.:

Admittedly I don’t know now.

bb:

You don’t know, eh. You *always* know, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

Not in this case. Probably Sapphire is right. She is very wise. And old. Old and wise.

bb:

If I stay in Yeot, I may never return to Sunklands, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

Oh, you’ll return. That’s the problem[, see].

bb:

Let’s switch subjects a bit. Carrcass-? I’ve decided to call it, which may or may not be the same as Carrcass-4. But I know some of what will happen. It will be bigger than Carrcasses 2 and 3, obviously (18 tiles apiece), and maybe Carrcasses 0 and 1 (37 tiles apiece). “Hucka D.?” Anyway, if you’re still there, I’m getting ideas. It may take a year or so on this one.

Hucka D. (basically ignoring bb’s talk of a future carrcass):

Gray Rock. Maybe that’s the answer. You must return to Gray Rock asap.

bb:

Gray Rock at Whitehead Crossing.

Hucka D.:

Yes. We’ll meet there.

bb:

Meet?

Hucka D.:

Yes. Thank you.

bb:

Thanks.
