Blog Talk… May 17, 2010

“Hucka D., I might already give up the idea of the Blue Feather Gallery. Maybe I should talk to the next potential exhibitor about options.

Hucka D.;

Blue Feather Gallery in Noru is low risk. Almost 1/2 the rent you pay in Yeot. Then you could rent elsewhere and not be strapped for money. Like Yeosol. You rent in that area — low price — and you live in Aotearoa and work in Noru. What do you have left to get out of Yeot? You’ve recreated exactly what was there before. You know of Sapphire’s house, apart from the parents [Nathaniel and Nataly Cornfield, elsewhere the Old House]. You know of the VILE fish. Have you finished talking to it? Or even begun [that process]?

bb:

No. Haven’t really had time. But I’ve been exploring the neighborhood.

Hucka D.:

In the past the same thing happened. Yeot struggled with Yeosol. Yeosol considered Yeot not a true naval sim — or water or shoreline sim I think they call it these days. There was a fight over whether the pool of Yeot was actually what you would call, or what others might call, an official quote unquote Linden pool. We have anticipated you coming to this juncture.*

bb:

If the fish survived in the pool for a certain length of time, then it would be considered authentic.

Hucka D.:

Right. That’s precisely what happened. It had to be a certain size fish. (pause)

bb:

So that’s how VILE got into the pond. It was a legitimacy issue.

Hucka D.:

VILEness *chose* to be in that pool. He was brought in from Yd Island by the Wilsons and The Barracuda, which is The Arab inversed. Brought through the hole. Let loose in the seas surrounding Mos Ainsley, eventually to be brought to, well, perhaps Yeosol first. Then Yeot.

Someone had to sit in that shack on the shore and monitor his health issues.

bb:

Did he even make it?

Hucka D.:

Yes and no.

bb:

I should free him (!)

Hucka D.:

Yes.

bb:

It was a black/white, on/off situation.

Hucka D.:

The Gray Rock resolves. The Gray Rock heals. The Gray Rock is/ is not VILE.

bb:

That Gray Rock [in rl Frank Park] is powerful (!)

Hucka D.:

Yes. You are not the first to sit upon it and consider the Universe. There were notches in that tree.

bb:

Michael?

Hucka D.:

Yes. He knows those woods.

I got the impression when sitting on the rock and looking around, that the square tip of the rock represents a sim, perhaps Yeot but also perhaps Yeot and Aotearoa together. Like a map of the sim, but one that can be used to transport an avatar from sl to rl [again]. An avatar like Baker Bloch.

Hucka D.:

It is a 256 x 256 pixel square[, then]?

bb:

I’m not sure.

Hucka D.:

You received the impression of 3 habits draining you of energy on that rock. It spoke the truth; that’s what it does. You only have SL now because of your limited energy. But you have excelled here in your own way. Michael has his own problems.

bb:

So I’ve seen. The shouting and all. Another option is just to stay in Noru and rent the smaller of the 2 parcels in Aotearoa. At any rate, I think my time in Pudding Hill has ended, unless I decide to actually buy the central parcel there.

Hucka D.:

An option.

bb:

Noru is Norumbega in rl, or akin to it. The Blue Feather Gallery in Norumbega, otherwise Maine, use to exist in Gray, Maine when it existed at all. A virtual Blue Feather Gallery presently exists based in Bangor, Northern Ireland. Bangor, Maine is reputedly the actual site of Norumbega, the central city. This knot of synchronicities — maybe I should stay in Noru.

Hucka D.:

If you do, other options will open up. You could rent from Zedd instead of Sparklecat eventually, perhaps.

bb:

I can’t run away. I have to free the VILE fish [and give up the Yeot property].

Hucka D.:

You could still rent in Aotearoa, with the possibility of renting more later on. That seems to be the path. Beautiful spot Yeot is, though.

bb:

Just like that.

Hucka D.:

Just like that. Rent in Yeosol, though. You’ll see the difference; feel it. Yeot and Yeosol didn’t really get along in olden days. And explore the other YEO sims. You are better off in Noru. That will save you, right there, 40 dollars until the end of June. And you won’t have any chance of insulting your current exibitors. You already have options, even without the Tower of TILE, even without the Big E and the Small Gothic House, and the Hard To Get To Gallery.

bb:

I’ll miss all that.

Hucka D.:

You have exploring to do. You had to recreate the past situation in Yeot and then get out — if you could. Just like VILE wished to get out of the pool there. He talked while he was slowly dying. He talked of the Universe. He too had his problems[, see].

bb:

Maybe Sapphire has some opinions on this as well (?).

Hucka D.:

Maybe. I’m not sure she’d like you leaving Yeot.

bb:

“Sapphire, I’m thinking about freeing VILE again. Allowing him to escape Floaty Pool.”

[no answer]

Hucka D.:

Told you.

bb:

Maybe you’re — we’re wrong, then.

Hucka D.:

Doubtful. You just had to go there and find all this out. That was good and correct. You recorded and are still recording your adventures in this blog.

bb:

What is the future of the 10×10 in SL, Hucka D.?

Hucka D.:

You await the 3d web. What will *that* do to this blog??

bb:

I’m going to go back to Sunklands.

Hucka D.:

Good idea. Re-create Pietmond. Pass through the Gray Rock again. Noru. Wait and see.

bb:

Thank you.

*****

bb:

Hucka D., I forgot to ask about the Queen’s role in this. She appears to especially act as patron for The Hard To Get To Gallery.

Hucka D.:

Perhaps the Queen is the one who brought VILE to this pool and interpreted his dying words in the shape of crop circles.

bb:

Is The Hard To Get To Gallery itself worth keeping the Yeot property?

Hucka D.:

No. You can place that in Aotearoa [for instance].

bb:

It won’t be the same.

Hucka D.:

It will be different, yes.

bb:

Why won’t Sapphire speak to us tonight?

Hucka D.:

As I said, she is as uncertain of this move as you. She is your doubt, centered in protecting and legitimizing Yeot itself and the pool. It is [potentially] TILE, the atom, the smallest and the indivisible. But only if VILE changes to TILE, or allows a manifestation point that legitimizes the pool. All eyes of Jeogeot then pointed in the direction of this tiny pool in the north central part of the continent. VILE was a star.

bb:

The pool was too small[, though].

Hucka D.:

Maybe.

bb:

I’m heading inworld. Thanks again.

Hucka D.:

You’re welcome.

* I think this was somewhat a money issue, sort of like TD Rentals can charge a tiny bit more for this property if it is considered a shoreline sim.
