First and Second Life at least.

She might be/might not be… January 23, 2010

“I am Sapphire.”

bb:

Hi Sapphire. How do you like my move to the center of Sunklands? Sunklands Central, now.

Sapphire:

I am… (pause)

Hucka D.:

Goodnight baker b. She is happy.

bb:

She have to go elsewhere?

Hucka D.:

Brushing her teeth for the press.

bb:

Can we talk just a little about Carrcass-4 now?

Hucka D.:

Talk all you want. (smiles)

bb:

Sapphire has said she is the main guiding spirit for Carrcass-4.

Hucka D.:

She may not be lying.

bb:

Will it be Colors?

Hucka D.:

Yes. You just need to choose the right alleyways to enter. Blocked here and blocked there but not blocked there. That’s your opening… as usual. You’re use to this now.

bb:

Yes. What of Sapphire’s mother/father or aunt/uncle, Nathaniel and Nataly?

Hucka D.:

Oh they’re still around if needed.

bb:

I have an urge to go back to the Nautilus continent but not so much Yd Island, although I want to *stay* on Yd Island for now (my 1024 there).

Hucka D.:

Yes. Stay on Yd Island. It’s the oldest part of SL… no, older than old. pre-old. Pre-Ancient it’s so old. Maebaleia is the oldest. Lake District and all. Then Jeogeot. It may start with that 10 sim hole, though. The Hole. Go back… explore. Don’t forget The Measure. Don’t forget the Micro Hole.

bb:

Sapphire claims she was born inside the Micro Hole, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

She might be telling the truth.

bb:

I think we need to talk more and more and more about The Bill.

Hucka D.:

The Bill surround your Second Lyfe like an ionosphere, penetrating here and there as they will. They are a Big Synk.

bb:

You’ve said The Bill and Ruuster are one and the same.

Hucka D.:

Yes.

bb:

And I think you said they have at least a partial appearance of a chicken or rooster.

Hucka D.:

Rooster, yes.

bb:

A type of counterpart to Billina of SID’s 1st Oz and the Oz mythology. Friends as one.

Hucka D.:

Yes, friends as one. Their taxis came too late. Yellow. Dry. Desert… deadly. Water evaporating. Then Oz.

bb:

But now it seems tied to Howl’s Moving Castle. I didn’t realize that connection until I found the partially completed Castle in Crabwoo, of all places, w/ one chicken type leg attached already. ONE.

Hucka D.:

The Bill come and go as they will.

bb:

Is this Bill Hill?

Hucka D.:

*Yes.*

bb:

Bill Hill seems attached to the creation of the Linden Grid, which may be the same as Linden World or Lime World. Before that we might have had Lemon World now, though.

Hucka D.:

Seasons the salad but wilts the lettuce. Pro and con for it[, then].

bb:

What is the relation of Lemon World and Lime World, then? Is Lime the same as a Linden? Obviously it is in Britain.

Hucka D.:

Everywhere. Lime… Lyme. Life… Lyfe. See?

bb:

I think so. Lyme points to Lyme disease and ticks, as in Tic Toc, another friend to Dorothy, a best friend even.

Hucka D.:

Then (in moving to NY) you have Chasm Falls. 444444. Falling into decimals. Tyle. TILE. Emerald Center. Titusville. Henry Wheeler as before or after Wilson. Forwards and backwards at once. Lemon and lime.

bb:

You said Lemon brought in The Bill.

Hucka D.:

Yes.

bb:

Marty didn’t want them around?

Hucka D.:

Marty wanted The Beetles to be top dog. Obvious reasons. Lemon wanted to bring in The Others. Lemon brought in The Bill, who are multidimensional. Billfork… Villeneuve. Magellan Linden. Transporter. 8 rocks which become 9. Martin. Purple. 9th. Alphabet then 9th. A/Z and M/N. Arizona and New Mexico. Billfork Core.

bb:

But then we have Hidalgo.

Hucka D.:

You don’t think about Blinkerton very much any more. I was.

bb:

You were Blinkerton, I know. But you were also Hucka D. before the death of Blinkerton. You are a walk-in?

*****

Hucka D.:

Yes?

bb:

So Lemon brought in The Bill or allowed them to enter. Sunklands is born here in a way.

Hucka D.:

Yes… Sunklands.

bb:

But created from Norumbega by Peter. Catastrophe.

Hucka D.:

Yes. Cut diagonally. Highlighted now in the collective conscious by Haiti.

bb:

Could happen here. Already has happened. New Madrid.

Hucka D.:

Sunklands is a little way to help.

bb:

A series of smaller catastrophes to avoid a greater, more devastating one.

Hucka D.:

Yes, in a way.

bb:

From the other [U.S.] direction we move from Idaho to Montana at the same time. We then find 3 buttes who become 4 beauts. We enter an Oblong space. Cleared out of older images. We focus in on Birdtail Butte to find England and Seathwaite Fell, amazingly. Only can happen in Collage World. (pause) We move down to the top of the England mtn. We move up to the England mtn. to the top. Up and down at once. Monkey and Man together at top. Grave. Ives. Burl not Charles. Passing through the graves in a green oblong box full of non-green letters. Ireland. Forwards and backwards at once…. Wilson and Wheeler. Man and Monkey on Green Gable looking on. Death of the Council of 8.

Hucka D.:

Yes. We better end.

bb:

Thank you.

To Rabbit Hole and W. Side of Big Sink, 02

Filed under: Big Sink,Sunklands — baker Blinker @ 9:55 am

Baker finds a lot of empty space on the west side of Tuatara and into Wetas especially. More abandoned land. He’s heading back down the slope, soon to encounter the steeper grade that signals a reentry into Big Sink proper, west-side style.

But Baker follows the ridge line a bit more before diving into the giant sink again. Seeing the edge of Felix Meritis’ Monastery, centered in Lill Burn Valley (westernmost of the 6 identified sinks of Sunklands) , he knows that he is almost completely around its edge now.

So he heads down into it. Still in Wetas (but about 50 meters below where he was in the above picture), two queer bullets named “Bill” grab his attention. More reference to “The Bills” or “The Bill” per chance? Probably. Strange pink pig putting out quite a lot of pink particles here, as well as a plain green cone. No relationship, though, between any of the creators of these 3 objects, although I certainly might be missing something. They’re all near the property lines of a 2048 parcel whose description reads “Leaves of Light”. No info on the group is available.

The higher of the two smiling Bills. Wylde Bills (since it is the *west* side of Big Sink — sorry)?

Some high prim clothes found on the western lip of the sink. A veritable Hollywood Boulevard.

Memorial to a man who died oh too young in Katipo now, on the south side of Route 10. The northwest corner of Big Sink lies in this sim.

The gold topped pyramid indicates he’s not far from home now.

Back home in Pudding Hill, Baker looks from the north facing transparent wall toward Big E. Same colors as the pyramid minus the gold top… hmmmm.

Then, to complete this two post tour, a look down toward the bottom of the waterfall just below. End meets up with beginning.

To Rabbit Hole and W. Side of Big Sink, 01

We begin this trip just north of the Big E Gallery property, where the giant waterfall that starts at the top of the gallery completes its 145 meter drop, forming a small pool with no outlet. Couldn’t stock the pool with any fish, though; as I have already indicated, I’ve run out of prims for this parcel.

About 70 meters north Baker encounters a grave stone, with this pen (terarrium?) beside it containing 2 turtles, their water bowls, and some turtle eggs. Unfortunately I cannot access the property directly to report more, but I did think of Zappa’s precisely 2 minute long Centerville segment of his 200 Motels film once again (when have I last *not* thought about Centerville daily? hehe), and the fact that two Turtles (Flo and Eddie) are “trapped” or “penned” there as well during this time.

But moving quickly on, across the seemingly cursed Tuatara sim (noted for its lag in this blog last summer, and now the home to several gathering places, causing additional lag I’m sure), to Mount Owen to its immediate east. Appropriate to the name, it forms the center of a high plateau (elevation around 125 meters) between Big Sink and Aotearoa Sink to the south, and Blackmount Sink to the north. As one can still see in the terrain view of the SL world map, there’s also a message terraformed into the upper, sloping part of this sim: “Love KIC” or maybe just “Love KC”.*

But in checking behind himself today Baker finds that the terrain over the entire sim has been smoothed out, probably because it is up for sale now. But at least he took some pictures the other day before the erasure.

This is a pretty cool picture, I think, showing the relationship of the now eliminated message and the infamous Rabbit Hole of Blackmount just ahead.

Of course, Baker has to revisit the mystery spot while in the area. Everything is still the way he remembers it: the picture of the rabbits is placed just to the north, like before. Actually, in checking behind himself again today, Baker is unable to find the several, small coins he recollects floating in the air a bit above the hole’s top.

Looking back into Mount Owen from the Rabbit Hole.

Exploring further west near the Tuatara-Morton Mains line, Baker reaches this beauty spot of lush vegetation. He decides to save further investigation in this direction for another day, though, and begins to head back toward Big Sink, wishing to visit its western side tonight.

He takes a snapshot through the nice trees before leaving.

*****

* This is sort of strange, though, as well, since the 2 minute long Centerville segment of 200 Motels is also at the very center of the audiovisual synchronicity Kansas City Life. Could “KC” here stand for the “Kansas City” part of this name, which we’ve already speculated in this blog may also signify “Second Life” (Kansas City being the “second” city of Missouri, after St. Louis)? If so, it probably has something directly to do with the nearby Rabbit Hole. Difficult to gage the power of that thing.

Nice to have cool neighbors…

Interesting art in Tryad Mesmeriser’s gallery right next door to my Edwardston Station Gallery plot. Unfortunately it looks like, as of today, Mr. Mesmeriser has decided to downsize in Pudding Hill, with much of his art work deleted from the sim. I attempted to encourage him to stay via inworld im, and he replied that it may come down to a decision between this place and one in Foxglove on the Sansara continent. So it’s good to know he’s at least not leaving SL, even if he may be leaving me alone soon as the only registered gallery in the sim. But perhaps not for long (see this post above).

Inspired by Tyrad’s art, I decided to take another look at the knetic sculpture on the other side of Route 10 from my Sunklands Central parcel by Sambroxton String. I appreciated it even more in this reappraisal; the textures are quite, um, mesmerizing.

And then in exploring the neighbor’s land to the west, found the giant complex seemingly taking up the whole of Craggen Maw to be deserted — more abandoned land, perhaps because of the result of adult content once more, although it doesn’t say it in the land’s description this time. Owner is — was — a group called Swiss Second Life Bank. Yeah, sounds like a good cover for a porn operation, hehe. Just joking, SSLB. Anyway, although I think the place is *way* too big and, if I remember correctly from before, banned people from passing through without a pass, I must admit that some of the techo-rave stuff is cool. I also kind of like the red/green/blue triangle based pyramid pictured below, with a gold plated top seemingly. Looks like a giant swimming pool inside the transparent dome.

The techo-rave interior of the main building on the abandoned land. Called the CC Club — unsure about the relationship with SWISS Second Life Bank group that actually owned the land. Well, something to study up on later; will be returning for sure, since it’s right next door to my Sunklands Central parcel in Pudding Hill. My parcel borders their old land on 2 of its 4 sides.

Animated dance floor. Very hypnotic! Can you move Baker Blinker? Do you need assistance in prying your eyes away from the patterns? hehe.

54 prim Metropolis type woman on the top of the building.

Then later that night it was on to “visit” another neighbor, one in Pudding Hill this time and right next door, once more, to the Edwardston Station Gallery. This is a music joint called the Pudding Club, appropriately enough, owned by the members of the RL band called UK Heights, based out of Petersfield, UK. Inworld they call themselves SL Heights. I’ve actually mentioned them already in this blog, in a post from last October when I first probed the Pudding Hill sim. From the number of little green dots on my SL map, I knew that a concert was taking place in the Pudding Club next door (I had just returned from Craggen Maw, I believe), and decided to just go over and take in a few songs. Listened to some very nice cover songs and original songs in the progressive rock view — can’t remember the name of the artist offhand, but it wasn’t UK Heights themselves (sorry: SL Heights). But I certainly plan to go back, and hopefully a gig will be happening this weekend as well. Plan to download UK Heights’ latest album, with an ambient/trance bend, as well. Maybe down some more of that free champagne Morty was handing out Friday night as well. 🙂

Here’s to trees (clink)!
