First and Second Life at least.

Now rent *3* 1024 parcels in Pudding Hill, and am moving the bulk of Big E pictures to that sim. By February the Big E Gallery of Aotearoa will be no more. For now, I still have the Gallery at the Temple of TILE there, along with the “Where Are We On That?” exhibit.*

Moved to Pudding Hill already: “Edwardston Station Gallery” (home of the art or collage 10×10, formerly in the center of Aotearoa’s Big E Gallery), and “Big E Gallery” (newer, smaller, version combining the 10 story, 50 meter high “E” made up of Korean Channel sims with several b_hivia modules — a continuation of the merger of the two within the Big E Gallery of Aotearoa).

I don’t plan to exhibit “Where are we on that?” in the new location, nor the Gallery at the Temple of TILE most likely. The Temple of TILE may be moved to another 1024 in another location, though (Yd Island?? Possibility).

New stuff:

* Small side gallery housed within the 30x30x30 version of the Edwardston Station Gallery now set up in Pudding Hill called “Down The Rabbit Hole.” Features pictures from Sunklands (formerly in the “gallery offices” space of the giant Aotearoa gallery), and also the Lake District of Maebaleia (formerly inside the Big E letter in Aotearoa). Connecting the two series of pictures is an abstract representation of the Rabbit Hole itself: a 60+ meter long pipe. Hard to explain without seeing but it’s kind of the same idea as found in some early versions of the Temple of TILE where I wrapped pipes around the outside of the 30x30x30 cube. Here we only have a pipe going around 1/2 of the cube, connecting the otherwise separate exhibits on the vacant parts of floors 2 and 5.

* Sunklands Central:
In the Victorian house set up on the lowest of the three 1024s I now rent in Pudding Hill, or the one Hucka D. said was the home of Vortextra, the epicenter of the 8 sim long Big Sink of Jeogeot. I’m very excited to have the opportunity to rent this property, and from a company (LaMa Estates) I’ve had successful dealings with before. I also rent another 1024 from them a little higher up on the hill in Pudding Hill (this is where I’ve set up the Edwardston Station Gallery again). Just to complete, the 3rd 1024, the last to be rented and even further up the hill from the other two, is being rented from another, less known group, and where I’ve placed the smaller version of the Big E Gallery.

For now, Sunklands Central is set up much like the House of Truth in Noru — and also, now, my small office in Chilbo: just some basic pictures about Jeogeot and Sunklands displayed, showing the relationship of Chilbo, Korean Channel and Sunklands on the Jeogeot continent, and also a more detailed map of Sunklands where the position of my galleries within are displayed. Probably should offer SL maps of all continents here as well (reminder to self). ESG picture with landmark also present here, along with pic of Baker Bloch’s discovery of the Korean Channel in May, 2009. For a brief time, upstairs I had the Wall of Ass. (on wall in back), but for now it is empty (the Wall of Ass. is now in the Big E Gallery of Pudding Hill). Because I rent 2 1024s from the same realty company, I can use the prims of one lot for the other lot as well. So most of my prims alotted with this 1024 are being used on the other parcel housing the Edwardston Station Gallery, as well as a small ground cabin and a bit of landscaping. I also have some minimal landscaping accomplished directly below the Big E Gallery in Pudding Hill.

Challenges:

The exhibit of the Edwardston Station Gallery — the art or collage 10×10 — will not be changing so that’s more of a museum, even, than a gallery, or, perhaps better, a permanent exhibit of a gallery. This was not always the case in my Second Life existence, since I only completed this work last March, with the 30x30x30 cube version of the ESG created shortly afterwards. Do I plan more collages in the future? Certainly I’ll do more collages sometime, but I might give it a year or two or three before beginning similar series found in the 10×10. But I’m certainly open to creating more independent collages in a less ambitious setting, such as I’ve done a bit, in a minimal way even, for more recent blog posts (many of which are included in the 18 part Wall of Ass., actually).

Let’s bring in Hucka D. and perhaps Sapphire to close.

Hucka D.:

You are now in the center of the center. Aotearoa was good in its time. Now this is better. You are completely purified, as Little Robert Plant Variant was before you. Now you just have Marty to deal with.

bb:

So… Plant moved to Sunklands and created something equivalent to what I’m creating in its heart: the Pudding Hill gallery complex.

Hucka D.:

Yes, but for him it was a tree. The Tree.

bb:

“The Tree” can only be created with the sacrifice of the seed? Is the seed the Big E Gallery, then?

Hucka D.:

Yes. Big E, like Big Sky, was too big to care. Avatars had a hard time with it, those who came. Daunting. And needing of refinement, which you’re doing. So you’re planting the seed now. Plant.

bb:

I don’t see giving up my parcel that corresponds with Vortextra, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

Never give that one up. Never.

bb:

I probably should just go ahead and buy it.

Hucka D.:

Not yet. Good you have rented it from an established company. They were personally hesitant to buy it because [the location is not particularly desirable]. But it is flat and it is square. Sunklands Central now in truth. I am excited!

bb:

Is Plant excited as well?

Hucka D.:

Sure. Marty too. But he has more tricks to show you soon.

bb:

I have some questions about what pictures to put in what exhibit, Hucka D. “Down The Rabbit Hole” certainly should be where it is — no doubt about that.

Hucka D.:

You have put up the correct pictures for that. Good. Now to the Big E Gallery, the newer, cleaner version. Wall of Ass. at top — good. Within — where do you start? This is the story of Karoz beyond the “Where are we on that?” exhibit. He went to Jeogeot; was born on Jeogeot really. Split time between exploring Chilbo and exploring the Korean Channel. Found a portal between Jeogeot/Korean Channel and Maebaleia/Blue Feather Sea. Found weaker, psychic double to Chilbo in Crabwoo. You haven’t even explored that fully yet. The Bill figure in here. The Bill founded Crabwoo. But Karoz found his Circle of Limitation which is the same as Norumbega. He was based in Noru at the time, as was the whole Baker family, including me. Chilbo is within that circle, as is the lower part of the Korean Channel. But when Crabwoo was discovered and the parallel with Chilbo, another door was opened, and this represents the door between the lower and upper parts of the Korean Channel, or what you encapsulated as the schwa part (lower) and the e part (upper). From this tension Little Robert Plant Variant was born, who was *not* an SL avatar, like Karoz. But nevertheless, he replaced Karoz, which led from Nowtown/Zen City through Sternberg and X-ville/Y-borough to Sunklands itself. The E, the letter of stories, is more about the road to Sunklands instead of Sunklands itself. So from the middle of your e in your new Big E gallery you should switch to the Sunklands exhibit in the ESG (“Down The Rabbit Hole”). Then fill the rest of the E up with something else. Chilbo pics? More Korean Channel pics? My suggestion might be maps.

bb:

Thanks for that, Hucka D. (pause) I wonder if I could ask about The Bill more, since I’ve obviously found more evidence of their existence in Crabwoo with the partially completed Howl’s Moving Castle and its chicken/rooster leg. You’ve claimed that Magellan Linden is referring to The Bill in his Nascera apology note re breaking of the transporter there, which has been directly linked to the same in Villeneuve.

Hucka D.:

Lemon wanted The Bill to be brought in, not Marty. (pause)

bb:

There’s something I’m missing about Maebaleia and Crabwoo…

Hucka D.:

If you look over your typing, you’ll see I just referenced that lack.

bb:

OK, yeah.

Hucka D.:

The Bill and Ruuster are essentially one and the same. Like Magellan Linden they have visited every continent, and were there even since their beginnings. However, as you now know, Maebaleia is *older* than Jeogeot, even though on the Linden Grid, the former is formed after the latter. Something very pure is found on Maebaleia that you can’t get on Jeogeot, even though Jeogeot is now truly your virtual home away from home.

bb:

This has to do with the numbers 6 and 7, I’m assuming. Maebaleia is 6 and Jeogeot is 7. Where is the ONE?

Hucka D.:

Is it the Blue Feather Sea? Your questions about exhibit pictures revolve around these metaphysical questions.

*****

bb:

I suppose it would have to be the Blue Feather Sea on one level.

Hucka D.:

Put the Blue Feather Sea cube in your galleries. Thank you and good night.

bb:

Good night to you as well. Thanks.

* Part of the movement process is finishing the web version of this exhibit, which I’ve now done. See here.
