*Another* Gallery (Sheesh!) January 31, 2010

Filed under: Blue Feather Gallery,Galleries, Baker Bloch — baker Blinker @ 1:02 pm

Preliminary pictures of yet another gallery I’ve set up, this time on the Aotearoa property with all the spare prims I had left from the recent remodeling. No name yet, but leaning toward Blue Feather Gallery if I keep it. Just thought of that, though.

It’s very spread out; the grassy part of the below photos is the extent of my 7680 sq. meter parcel in Aotearoa, and, as you can see, the gallery’s ground plan hogs up most of this.

Structurally, on my end, it’s a collage effort based on modules, as per my usual style. This time the module is that recently found, freebie industrial grunge residence by the Yd Island gallery owner Weston Graves. More on him here:

http://mystsofforzane.wordpress.com/2010/01/10/weston-graves-art-exhibition/

A couple interior shots.

I’ve been able to include the entire 10×10 art collage work (100 collages, again) inside, and also a considerable number of Edna’s photographs along the outer walls.

But the big question looming is: will I actually keep this gallery around? If so, then I keep the Aotearoa property and get rid of some others. Mogwa most obviously. Probably Yd Island. Probably the highest 1024 parcel of Pudding Hill. *Not* the lowest (!) *Maybe* the middle Pudding Hill 1024.

Stay tuned!

Piedmont Chatters… January 30, 2010

Filed under: Aotearoa Sink,Hucka D.,Otaki Gorge,Sapphire,Sunklands — baker Blinker @ 10:22 am

“You are correct. Peter’s Mound was forgotten upon the move up the hill and the founding of what was first called Peter’s Mound, then Pete’s Mound, then Petemond and then Piedmont, as the forgetting escalated past a threshold event. It was then thought that Peter was buried in the small graveyard you have uncovered on your property in Aotearoa. You are also right about that. Obviously Lark’s gallery gives additional clues, specifically that Peter was from what you call Outer Space, an Ancient Astronaut like the Japanese Dogu. And still in a way, Baker Bloch is also Peter; he sits on a prim cube just as the Dogu in the [wikipedia] photograph propped up by the same. Gold cube. Pyramid topping. Lacking in the Big E in Pudding Hill. Red, green, blue but no grounding yellow or gold.”

bb:

The Big E is going to have to go away entirely.

Hucka D.:

Yes. (pause)

bb:

I have the pyramid [of similar colors] anyway.

Hucka D.:

Right. That means the Aotearoa property must go. Probably. Tough, though. It’s a great setting.

bb:

That’s what I was going to say. So lemme get this straight. Peter is a rabbit, or a rabbit avatar. Like our friend [delete name].

Hucka D.:

You can say it: Kou. But it’s not Kou himself, but merely the separation of two who know Jeogeot, another dark and light situation. You must bury the rabbit but then forget where it is buried. Then remember again. You want to speak of Peter’s Cross, then.

bb:

Yes, the cross seems to be to be a karmic wheel of the zodiac, entrapping and inducing forgetfulness (of the original burial ground). This is my guess where Piedmont was established — built around. The east-west arm of the cross is the same as the 40 meter pathway connecting the Victorian house and the slum econo apartments in Aotearoa. And these are, in another way, Virgo and Pisces, in that order.

Hucka D.:

You can keep the waterfall but you must get rid of the Big E. Make it an archived exhibit, like “Where are we on that?”.

bb:

The interview will take place in Pudding Hill (regarding SID’s 1st Oz)!

Hucka D.:

Yes. You can keep the waterfall. And, of course, the Edwardston Station Gallery, the cube version. That’s OK.

bb:

So you’re saying I should move away from Yd Island.

Hucka D.:

Yeah, why not? You are not attached to that mythology any longer. The Micro-Hole has completely balanced the Macro-Hole. Sapphire was is will be born and moved to Jeogeot. Your days on Yd Island are not longer needed.

bb:

And the Mogwa rental too, I assume.

Hucka D.:

Why not?

bb:

Right. Everything in Pudding Hill.

Hucka D.:

Sunklands. Jeogeot. More on the cross, please.

bb:

It looks like to me that the cross was formed, and then the north-south axis was lost. Only the east-west arm is left, the Virgo-Pisces arm or axis. Gemini-Saggitarius — air-fire — is eliminated. Correct? Sir?

Hucka D.:

It becomes Piedmont, like Alabama.

bb:

Is Sapphire here?

Sapphire:

Ummagumma. Psychogumma. Meddle. Down, town. (pause)

bb:

Hucka D. is advising me to leave Yd Island, Sapphire.

Sapphire:

Yes, good. Focus on Jeogeot. Piedmont began during my rule of the continent. It was one of the first communities on the west side, perhaps the first. Peter’s Mound is older. Ancient. Astronaut.

bb:

I’m going to have to give up that property.

Sapphire:

You know what was there. Peter’s Cross, up from Peter’s Mound. Then arm removed and forgetfulness (ensues).*

*****

* I think Sapphire and also Hucka D. might peripherally be referring to the removal of the *leg* of the Dogu statue pictured just below, instead replaced with a cube that looks like an SL prim cube. Removal of the leg means the removal of the north-south axis of Peter’s Cross.

Otaki Gorge, Petemond/Piedmont, Dogu, So On…

In revisiting Peter’s Mound the other night, Baker Bloch finds a, ahem, block or prim cube on the very top.
In checking the land ownership of the mound (finally!), Blochs finds that it actually has 3 owners, MORE TEXT SOON.

Aerial palm tree marking the spot of Peter’s Mound is still in place. Hucka D. has compared this to a flag pin on a golf course, and the grave itself as the 18th or final hole.

As it turns out, Peter’s Mound is almost directly south of the little graveyard I set up on my Aotearoa property, recently revised to include this small, blue pool — Blue Pool, as opposed to White Pool now on another part of the property. As you can see, I made one of the 3 gravestones of the cemetery fall into the middle of the new pool. Pool of The Dead, then, as well.

Baker then moves back to Peter’s Mound and the cube prim perched on top to check exact lat/long/elevation numbers.

The place which would be about a sim’s length directly north (256 meters north) is here in relation to the small Aotearoa cemetery.

Closer look at the submerged tombstone.

And then when researching Aotearoa, Otaki Gorge and some of the surrounding sims as well using the ever so handy Second Life Grid Survey site, discovered that there was another gallery set up almost *across the road* from my Aotearoa property that I hadn’t noticed before. I thought: surely this small gallery hasn’t been there all the time! Now I’m not the most observant of chaps, but I was still relieved to know that the gallery, called Lark Art, had only been there for a little over a month. It’s been a busy December and January for me, with most of the activity taking place away from Aotearoa (until very recently).

I took a snapshot of Lark’s photograph that most captured my attention of the handful within (as I said, it’s pretty but quite small, and set up on a 512 parcel): a partially submerged dogu statue titled “A Being From Outer Space.” You can read all about the dogu here, and possible connection with “Ancient Astronauts” here.

Picture of Lark Blackheart’s tidy gallery on the northern edge of Otaki Gorge, same sim that contains Peter’s Mound, mind you.

Relationship between the lower, central part of my Aotearoa property and Lark’s art gallery using a 96 meter draw. So close!

Below is wikipedia’s picture of a dogu figurine. According to their article on the subject, most such figurines contain missing arms, legs, or other body parts, some of which have been purposely broken off. I couldn’t help notice the resemblance of the gold cube substituting for the figurine’s leg to a Second Life prim cube with default (plywood) texture. In Lark’s photograph, this particular leg of the dogu, if it exists, is buried in the sand of the beach it has washed up on. Chance? Maybe not.

I also think of the submerged tombstone newly added to my small Aotearoa cemetery, submerged just like the dogu pictured in “A Being From Outer Space” hung just across the road. We’ll see how all this plays out further soon enough.

New layout, so far, of the 7680 sq meter Aotearoa property. The blue pool in the foreground is one of the recent additions, being directly below the center of the cube version of the Edwardston Station Gallery hovering about 100 meters above now. With the creation of the even newer Blue Feather Gallery, as I’m calling it so far, probably will delete the cubic Edwardston Station Gallery, since it contains mostly the same pictures. However, there is the problem still of the unique, small side gallery now within the cube version of the ESG, “Down The Rabbit Hole”. What to do with that?? The blue pool, which I think I’ll call simply Blue Pool, has also come up more recently in connection with some new things found in Otaki Gorge just across Route 10.

And then here’s White Pool, almost the exact size of Blue Pool (that’s the idea anyway) and directly beneath the modified Big E Gallery also moved from Pudding Hill, or copied from Pudding Hill I should say, since the gallery still exists in both locations currently. The giant waterfall has also been carried over from Pudding Hill, and, like there, forms this pool on the ground.

Aotearoa property from the north now, clearly showing the much older waterfall on the property set in a grove of pines.

A little further up… here we begin to see the bottom of both the Big E Gallery and the Edwardston Station Gallery now at Aotearoa…

… for now.

White Pool in relation to a campfire already present on the property before the recent remodelling. The walkway in the foreground is what we’ve been referring to here as the east-west “arm’ of Peter’s Cross, perhaps another re-creation of an ancient configuration. If so — just to complete this line of thought — the Victorian house at its east end would represent Virgo and the slum econo apartments on the west side (also present in my original Aotearoa property set-up, like the Victorian house) the complementary zodiac sign of Pisces.

I thought this also meaningful: when I’d completed all the remodeling I wanted to do to the Aotearoa property that day, checked to see how many prims I had left to work with and it turned out that I had used *exactly half* of what is allotted to me for that parcel, or as close to 1/2 as you can get with that odd number (879 used, 878 still available).

” I am Sapphire. Wazob and Jeogeot… (pause)”

Hi Sapphire. (pause) You still there?

Hucka D.:

She is attempting to say a link has been made between your Wazob and our Jeogeot now. Eunhaeng.

bb:

I think that’s already been determined, Hucka D. And goodnight to ya!

Hucka D.:

Yes, hello baker b. You must further that link now it has been established. Explore more around that area. Go back to Ro Sheen’s Coffee Shop. Hang out there. Lake District (of England) is involved also. Col… (pause)

bb:

(pause) Hucka D.?

Sapphire:

We are were will be talking about Jasper more.

bb:

The Jasper (collage) series?

Sapphire:

He he. Why don’t you ask Wilma.

bb:

Who’s Wilma?

Wilma:

Horticulture. Ray o vacuum cleaner. Prices expensive. Horribly wound up. Tight wad. Renee gade opal vacuum… cleaner. Laundry. Hurt. Pain. Giving up. Ree..

bb:

Hi Wilma.

Wilma:

Hi. Horrible pain. Vacuum suck suck sucks. Standing in one place at once. House and I are one.

bb:

Wilma, do you know of this blog? Or does it read like Korean to you.

Wilma:

I am trying internally. All maps… are… recovered.

bb:

Is Fred there with you?

Wilma:

(pause) I don’t know.

bb:

Who is Ruuster? Do you know?

Wilma:

I am being given information.

bb:

But you know what I mean… about the blog and it reading like Korean. I’m on the Korean channel now. Continent, I mean. Korean continent. Do you know where that is? It’s also known as Jeogeot in the blog. It’s all through it, after part 14.

Wilma:

I’m looking on the shelf but the numbers do not appear on the edges. 14.

bb:

No, all the parts of the blog after 14. I’m the only one who reads them as books, though. Or a giant book itself. One other… maybe several actually, but most readers are or will be in the future. You don’t have to read them yourself, just know that they are there. In that bookshelf. If you wish to read. Later.

Wilma:

I will read…

bb:

But the other side of the house, your house after all, contains the English classics. You should read those.

Wilma:

I will be here. A part of me.

bb:

We can take you to Sunklands, though. Wilma?

Wilma:

I will stay in my house.

bb:

Ruuster’s house, you mean. According to this blog. We are talking in this blog. Now. Oh… Gray will be there to help.

Wilma:

Of course.

bb:

We create Ruuster’s house together. Is that what you’re trying to tell me? Information… you say you’re getting information…

Hucka D.:

We’ll talk to her later. Baker b., she is confused about the nature of me.

bb:

You are a spirit guide. You are a member of the Baker family, just as important as Baker Bloch and Baker Blinker. And Karoz.

Hucka D.:

She doesn’t understand this virtual family. You are baker b…. she gets that. But she doesn’t understand how you divide into male and female within the blog.

bb:

Mostly male now. I’m most definitely identified with Baker Bloch more than Baker Blinker now. But we all have male and female inside us. The Jung idea, of course.

Hucka D.:

The two parts of the house that manifest in Jeogeot from Wazob… one is night and one is day. An impression is being made. You know this is the house because of the presence of Sampson’s Stones equivalent in Emerald Center to the *northwest* of the house. Just like Edwardston is northwest of [Bridee]. She can understand that.

bb:

Who were Elvis and his wife?

Hucka D.:

A trace. Aliens. Evils into Elvis. You will write about them tomorrow. (pause) The trace is made because of the pain and fear Wilma is suffering, and because she is becoming one with the house. The house manifests as two houses in Jeogeot because you and she create them together, as through a prism. One house is dark and has unreadable books, which are the same as your blog. Kou Umaga would see them as the same way, except they would be written in the undecipherable version of English instead of Korean, or Japanese or whatever. Korean is good, though, because you are on the Korean continent with the Korean channel. Put those maps up before going to bed. Or tomorrow.

bb:

Thank you. I will.

Hucka D.:

Wilma is trying to communicate. Gray, as you said, is helping. Fred?

bb:

Fred is not the soulmate, though. They are redbird and bluebird together in life. Separate. Like these two houses.

Hucka D.:

Precisely. And you fit in between the split. You are two in one. Father and mother in one, like we all are. Vigo and Prices. Maxwellborn. Piedmont. Leo to Vigo. Ray… the brainard.

I’m going to look back at the High Octave Story, maybe just add it to the blog here.———————-

Petemond (new: Piedmont) seal?*

Jazz great, Don Redman, was born in Piedmont on July 29, 1900. Henry Louis Gates, a professor of African-American history at Harvard, was raised in Piedmont, an experience he described in his 1994 book “Colored People”. Rock singer Steve Whiteman of the band Kix, best known for their hit song ‘Don’t Close Your Eyes’, was born in Piedmont in 1956.

* If so, here’s some theories: The Big E Gallery formerly in Aotearoa is a fulfillment of the ascension of Baker Bloch shown in the seal, about to be teleported up. The Blue Feather Sea cube behind him represents the small “e” (“e”) that will soon transform into a big “e” (“E”). It is the cube that becomes 8 cubes fitted together to create this E. This is according to the beginning of the Special Game of TILE. But perhaps the reverse is happening here, and the destruction of the Big E Gallery *precedes* the creation of Petemond or Piedmont on the ground (?) Whatever, the basis of the cross is still present on the ground, and formerly acted as a walkway between the Victorian house on the east end and the slum econo apts. on the west side. These, I suppose, could be Virgo (from Vigo) and Pisces (from Prices) respectively. Baker Bloch seems to represent more the Gemini aspect, as he stands just above that particular sign and the twins. baker b. himself is a twin, seen in Baker Bloch’s twinship with Baker Blinker, the 2 aspects of baker b. in Second Lyfe.

Newly created SID’s Place on Yd Island.

Measuring things again…

“I didn’t mind my p’s and q’s enough when counting the number of Jeogeot continent sims. It’s actually 776. 1 from 777. But at least my total for Maebaleia (678) was correct. (pause) Hucka D.?”

Sapphire:

Good that you started exploring Yd Island again and found the house/gallery. I am Sapphire. I was born in the Micro-Hole you probed tonight as well. The Micro-Hole was formed to counter the intense gravity of the Macro-Hole, or what most people knew as just The Hole. The Micro-Hole was a sort of hidden project, although not overtly. You must think about Yd Island and TILE now, baker b. Baker Beach. And the Mmmmmm’s again.

Hucka D.:

Yes, Sapphire is right, baker b. Pudding Hill is a center now, but you must keep Yd Island in the mix. And now you have yet another new structure to deal with. The mythology of Yd Island can even be sharpened now that you are in the heart of Sunklands for real. You must give up Aotearoa. Sorry. Ideally, you would keep everything… (pause)

*****

They may be gone.

Hucka D.:

We’re over here.

Sapphire:

Yd. Island will be needed more in the spring and fall, countered by the winter-summer axis of Sunklands. No… (pause)

*****

“Glop people, Hucka D. What were they in Second Life?”

Hucka D.:

They were never here. They were in your Sharon.

bb:

One of my problems is how to convey through writing the emotions of exploring that region while living in Mythopolis. Sharon was an independent country from Wazob at one time, like Texas from the US before the Mexican War.

*****

bb:

Let’s get this done with tonight as well, Hucka D., and Sapphire. The comparison of ancient Wazob with more modern Jeogeot. Then maybe we can determine some bleedthroughs…

Hucka D.:

There is no parallel to Bridee, your mother’s house, unless you want to count the new finds in Eunhaeng, as you probably should.

bb:

If so, then, it’s split in two in Jeogeot, a night side and a day side. But the same structure.

Hucka D.:

If so, again, then the dry waterfall on the Emerald Center properties with the obvious parallel to the Sampson’s Stones must also be factored in. That’s the province of Emerald, which is, or was, just beyond the central Q province — Zircon, wasn’t it?

bb:

Yes. And this seems to apply, or backed up, by the fact that (Chip) Sampson was a star forward for the Emerald basketball team, its greatest star, perhaps, before (John) Raphael showed up in about 1970.* So, yeah, I think this would *have* to represent the Emerald province of Wazob. Or, I mean, there’s a direct resonance going on between it and Second Life — and the Lake District of England as well. The house: books that can’t be read on one side, night side, and books that can on the day side.

*****

bb:

Jeogeot is about 6 miles wide and 7 miles high, Hucka D. Let’s see, Wazob is maybe 4 miles high and 4 miles wide or so. Not an exact match, but not incomparable. But one of the things I see is the relation of Sunklands to the traditional Sharon country, or what later became the Chrysoberyl province. Now Nick Barkley was a star forward for both the Chrysoberl college basketball team and then the Chrysoberyl pro basketball team. Nick Barkley is a charater in Big Valley (a tv show), which reminds me of that old poem…

Big valley, huge valley
Side for you, side for me

Hucka D.:

That’s your poem. I like “Lucky Penguins Stupid Penguins” better.

bb:

Thanks for that. But it sounds like Big Sink, though. Maybe St. Nick is the patron saint of Sunklands, not St. Lemon. St. Nick is of course Santa Claus to us. Bringing us toys when we were small.

Hucka D.:

Smaller.

bb:

Right (smiles). So, Hucka D. are there any other comparisons to make here?

Hucka D.:

You seem to have covered the major ones. No real parallel to Chilbo, for instance.

bb:

Oh, I guess the Korean Channel would have to be a substitute for Silver Creek, the spine of Wazob. (pause) Before I forget, Hucka D., I think the Corsica continent may have been purposely planned as a type of Russian/Siberia thing, forming slowly west to east across a large breadth. It’s the longest SL continent.

Hucka D.:

But instead of Russia you get Pennsylvania — unplanned.

bb:

Yeah, to emphasize the Egg Hill sink as a center, and some other stuff. Getting back to the Wazob-Jeogeot link, Sunklands must parallel Sharon.

Hucka D.:

Think of your mother’s house, Bridee, and the 2 structures that are so different in Eunheung but yet the same. Underneath is an old map of Second Life, almost from its beginning. Not chance it’s there. Like your old maps of Mythos, or Wazob. *Beanstalk* — food for thought. We better end.

bb:

Thank you.

* Chip Sampson and John Raphael played for a number of years (1970 – 1975) on the Emerald pro basketball team and were considered one of the best, if not the best forward tandem in the league they played (Wazobian Basketball Association, or WBA). They won two championships while playing together. Now all this is imaginary, but a number of years later while attending college (about 1980 or 1981) I met two actual people who were named *Chip and Raphael* I often saw hanging around together. Both were campers who lived in tents at the time. And to add to the oddity, another friend knew this same duo by two totally different names: *John* and Fred respectively.

Yd Island Again, 03

Filed under: Galleries, Other,Yd Island — baker Blinker @ 7:19 am

Revisiting the Land of What-If in Glocker, a little below the Micro-Hole in the same sim. 8 rocks again surrounding a portal at the very center of this 1/4th sim sized parcel… hmmmm.

And at the southeast corner of parcel Blochs finds this spherical diamond that wasn’t there in December when he also passed through this very spot.

Revisiting land owned by artist Weston Graves beside the Land of What-If. The whole garden spot (called “A Picture Garden” in the land’s description) is surrounded by these spherical bushes of unnamed species. More spheres.

Some of Weston’s excellent artwork, most set up between 2 pillars of small “Roman Ruins” scattered about the garden.

Baker then teleports to Weston Graves’ other gallery in Rossyln on Sansara, found in his profile picks. The industrial style structure impresses him…

… and he is happy to find that it is offered as a freebie, which he immediately takes advantage of, setting up one for himself on the Villeneuve property and slightly modifing it to fit a square 1024 parcel. He now has plans for this structure (see above!).
