“…. We listened to Chesaw’s stories about what he thought was the then almost infinitely marvelous well that was dug, which was new at the time. But now he sees it like the temptation in the Garden [of Eden]. We listened with rapt attention; we had gone through it all ourselves, our own New Wells. Or at least I had. And now my responsibilities would soon be growing 5 fold. Thank goodness for Pinky, although that didn’t turn out too *well* in the end.”

bb:

He fell back into the well.

Hucka D.:

So marvelous he thought it was. This money pit.

bb:

He went to the mainland.

Hucka D.:

Yes. (pause) There are certain places on the mainland that are, shall we say, safer than the norm. These would include the various sinks, especially those of a dry nature. This particular aspect of “safe” would obvious include the Sunklands of Jeogeot, then. Pinky took valuable, um, information about The Arab to this area, then.

bb:

He stole the whole ship?

Hucka D.:

The green was stored on the ship for safe keeping.

bb:

Hucka D., the last thing Baker Bloch saw on the Linden Memorial Park Island before this so called drowning was a frog, perhaps a toad…

Hucka D.:

Green.

bb:

He then symbolically came to Faye and found the remainder of the green there in that northeast corner of the sim. I forgot to read the related 10×10 post on Kent and camping out in Green, Kentucky — I’ll get to that after finishing *this* post.

Hucka D.:

That wasn’t….

bb:

I know, I know. That wasn’t a post. Ok, so we’re talking about Pinky and Chesaw’s story of the money well or money pit…

Hucka D.:

Well, he told us in his house. He had many wondrous stories to tell there. Like of August and August, who both arrived on Big Island in September.

bb:

Like this is September. Like we’ve just arrived. (pause) At first I thought you were going to tell me that the money pit was on *Big Island* itself, and that Chesaw’s new house sat upon it. Perhaps he moved to this island for the Green, and then when it was mined out he *made up* the part about it being elsewhere, like on Chesaw Island out in the bay.

Hucka D.:

The Green House, then. But I think it was a new kind of green. No, I think Chesaw had found a new Green. New Well.

bb:

Is Chesaw a collective soul?

Hucka D.:

*Yes*. He is the collective soul of a unified or monopolized Chesaux sim, with the name a derivative of Chesaw, like I said [before].

bb:

Do you think he acts as a *magnet*?

Hucka D.:

As we understood later on, he is what “attracted” us to the island, and actually made us wreck as well. We were suppose to meet this Chesaw and hear his marvelous stories.

bb:

And you lived with him?

Hucka D.:

No. He graciously allowed us to live in the southeast of what is now one of the 4 parcels of the Chesaux homestead sim. We lived in a beach house just in the water off the coast. It was small but comfortable. That’s where I raised my brood, as you put it.

bb:

Hope you don’t mind me asking — did you have a husband, Hucka D.?

Hucka D.:

Yes.

bb:

Want to talk about that more tonight?

Hucka D.:

I’ll say that the other 5 or 6 stayed on the ship and kept close to The Portal on the ship. They wanted to keep close guard on The Green.

bb:

Ahhh, is this the same as the energy source of the ship?

Hucka D.:

*Yes.*

bb:

Like the atomics you were talking about earlier?

Hucka D.:

Yes. Kind of.

bb:

Then later on, much later perhaps? [Hucka D. nods here] Pinky took the ship to Sunklands. He flew it there I assume.

Hucka D.:

He used the internal portal, but: yes.

bb:

This is after he went crazy after coming out of the well, the money pit. [Hucka D. nods again]. He knew what “pie” or “pi” was.

Hucka D.:

He knew the unknowable name.

bb:

Is Pinky the same as AA? [I got the feeling her that Hucka D. wanted me to think more about the question I was going to ask]. I’ll be back in a minute.

*****

bb:

Another thing I’m getting out of this, Hucka D., is that the people on The Arab, you and the others, came here to *forget* something. And I think this has something to do with Mythos. You wanted to forget about Mythos.

Hucka D.:

We had to hide it. Within the Confederation. We began to tell marvelous stories ourselves. Chesaw helped. Money was a turning point for us, me, as well. The — Kansas portion was uncorrupted; Oz was (Hucka D. stops here).

bb:

Mary Anne was from a farm in Kansas, Hucka D. Did she become corrupted on the island; split into 7? Or 5?

Hucka D.:

Very funny… almost insulting. But: yes once again. Painful. We were all separated after the wreck, the crash. Before we were white one.

bb:

Refracted, then.

Hucka D.:

Right.

bb:

But maybe in a good way?

Hucka D.:

Old belief systems began to break down. We began to see each other as individuals instead of a group consciousness. Instead the group consciousness was projected onto Chesaw, in the center.

bb:

Where were August and August during this time?

Hucka D.:

August was the captain of The Arab. He had The Babble with him.

bb:

The book called The Babble. You mentioned that when we were discussing the Egg Hole or Egg Hill sink of the Corsica continent. Corsica Prime.

Hucka D.:

It could cause madness. Did cause madness.

bb:

But you said it was written in Uniko. Unikese.

Hucka D.:

We couldn’t read it any longer, though. After the crash. We only had Chesaw after that and his marvelous memories, not written down. I was provided a cozy but nice beach house to the southeast of his house, where I raised the brood, including Pinky. We always were able to look at at his old island, and wonder at the stories of the Money Pit. Like you said, there is no trace left. But then…(Hucka D. pauses here)

bb:

Is Chesaw the same as Chee-Saw?

Hucka D.:

Yes. He was from Earth as well as SL.

bb:

He was given this whole sim as a reward?

Hucka D.:

You could say that.

bb:

Madness was outside it?

Hucka D.:

*Yes*.

bb:

Chesaw somehow was able to control the madness?

Hucka D.:

You know now that this control cannot be fully reinstated. All you can do is follow traces in your mind. It takes the cooperation of 2 to created the 1. It is not suppose to be controlled this time around. You know Chesaw lived on his Chesaw Island to begin with, and ran a store. He then gave up that store and moved to Big Island, on your property to live a life free of commercial concerns, without money or Green. Then The Arab arrived, causing new problems. He couldn’t live in splendid isolation. We also had something to get away from. This was all before Sunklands — or Sunklands wasn’t settled by those coming from Petemond on the Corsica continent yet. SL hadn’t truly formed yet.

bb:

Pinky went to Petemond, didn’t he?

Hucka D.:

Yes.
