In the shoes of Cornfields… December 17, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — baker Blinker @ 8:36 am

“Hucka D., I think the Cornfields are going to start to take over. From Greenup Yd?

Hucka D.:

Better ask him first.

Greenup Yd:

I is heres. Winner takes all. Loser takes mall. Oleoniburgistanislaw.

bb:

Right. Greenup Yd?

Greenup Yd:

Ya?

bb:

Do you know the Cornfields?

Greenup Yd:

Indubitably.

bb:

Do you know about COLORS or COLOURS?

Greenup Yd:

Invariantly. Unconscionably.

bb:

Good. Are they Adam and Eve? Or Adams and Eva, I suppose?

Hucka D.:

I will answer that. Yes. They are. They are the beginning, the rebis. Sorta like Baker Bloch and Baker Blinker. They are them in another form. Facebook form.

bb:

Right. Thanks for that.

Hucka D.:

You need to tidy up your gallery and then begin to explore around Yd Island again. Greenup Yd is becoming impatient, or perhaps he would put it as impertinent or something else [nonsensical].

bb:

I need to read over the blog too.

Hucka D.:

That you do. Go back to The Hole now. Go back to Yd Island. And let the Cornfields grown in their native soil.

bb:

Thank you.

Loose Thoughts… Chatting… December 16, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — baker Blinker @ 6:07 am

Again I do not have a lot of time tonight, or my neck won’t allow me much time. Been on computer too long today. So let’s move to Hucka D. and talk about continuing developments of the Big E Gallery through him and perhaps Greenup Yd and whoever else wants to show up tonight. “Hucka D.?”

Hucka D.;

Good idea to talk through me. I am [a] transparent [soul].

bb:

Greenup Yd around tonight, Hucka D.?

Hucka D.:

Oh he’s lingering [as usual].

bb:

Nice. I suppose I’ll work more on the E gallery inside the Big E Gallery… hafta think of a better name for that, um, sub-gallery now.

Hucka D.:

I’m admittedly very excited about all this. I saw you heading here from the beginning, [though]. I knew everything led to Sunklands. S U N K L A N D S (Hucka D. spells the name out again, with a pause between each letter).

bb:

For a dollar a day, it’s quite a lot of fun I must admit, Hucka D. This is definitely worth it. The old Aotearoa version of the Edwardston Station Gallery *may* have been worth it, plus the view into the Aotearoa sink itself. But now… no doubt. Big E Gallery was where it all was heading. I see that as well.

Hucka D.:

But don’t forget about The Hole. And Yd Island. Suppose we can’t wait any longer.

Greenup Yd:

Hellu. Have a nice day to you fellus. Wingie womp actual tiger woods golf tournament make-see. Mazie. Mays.

bb:

You a Tiger Woods fan, Greenup Yd?

Greenup Yd:

Hafta go lightly footed webbed archer tom kite mississippi two three one everybody involved.

bb:

(pause) Fascinating there, GY. Can I call you GY?

Greenup Yd:

Fascinating GY. Greenup Yd.

bb:

Um, let’s just go to another question. Hucka D., jump in at any time… feel free to, that is.

Greenup Yd:

Everybody’s hefty bag tight wad columbine muscle-bound idiot tiger woods hefty tree tree persimmon driver. Golf. Gold.

bb:

You play golf Greenup Yd?

Greenup Yd:

Everyone else tight wad muscle bound idiot tiger woods ansy gentle ben urbane seeker lipsink… synch. Perfect… pretty… purdy. (pause)

Hucka D.:

Suppose that should be it for Greenup Yd tonight. Anything else, baker b.?

bb:

No. Suppose I should log off. Thanks to you both.

Loose Thoughts… December 14, 2009

Recently renamed Big E Gallery (formerly, as of yesterday, the Ubertemple of TILE or, the day before that, the New Ubertemple of TILE), is, I definitely feel, my pinnacle of building achievement so far in SL as an “outsider architect”. It is essentially a mashup of about all former galleries or gallery ideas. I’ve been working very hard this weekend on it. I’ll post more about this soon!

Relationship with Chilbo: *must* read Chilbo’s new draft proposal to join the Linden Lab Community Partnership Program. Big doings! I wonder if I’m still on the big board over in town hall??

But Big E Gallery kind of puts, well, a lot of things into perspective, or has that potential, including my future relationship, if any, with Chilbo, and also the Jeogeot continent as a whole. It looks like I’m committed to stay there for at least several months more, maybe even longer. A type of permanent relationship? Am I destined to stay put in Sunklands? Have I found a *true* virtual home?

Still rent on Yd Island — want to continue exploring the island and probing a mythology. Let’s bring in Hucka D. since I’m limited in time tonight.

Hucka D.:

Here’s Greenup Yd…

Greenup Yd:

I am the island and the sea around the island and the hole the sea disappears into each night. I am sun and moon together now. Greenup and yellow down.

bb:

Hi Greenup Yd. Hi Hucka D. Do you know about my Big E Gallery… it’s brand new, but I thought the echoes…

Greenup Yd (interrupting):

Sun and moon together. Jeog–e–Geo–

bb (interpreting):

Jeogeot. The Jeogeot continent. Are you familiar with that?

Greenup Yd:

No, not sue much. Noo [=new?].

bb:

Do you know, though, of the Mmmmmm’s?

Greenup Yd:

They use to live on me. Still do in variant paths, of course. Harboring. Yaks.

bb:

Do you know of First Tree and/or Big Log?

Greenup Yd:

The Mmmmmm’s, yes. First tree is where you live now.

bb:

Interesting. I was thinking about that today… trying to figure out what might be the equivalent to First Tree. Then I realized: I now live in a tree [in Villeneuve].

Greenup Yd.:

Oh so furry upper down quantum leap baby ole man leopard…

Hucka D.:

We better say goodnight. Thank you.

bb:

Thank you.

Ubertemple, Yd Islands, And So On… December 9, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — baker Blinker @ 9:35 am

Continued updates to New Ubertemple today, which I could just name the Ubertemple (calling the original Ubertemple of Neith on Azure Islands, instead, the Old Ubertemple or Ur Ubertemple — Urbertemple?). Gotta feeling that I’ll be in Sunklands at least 2 more months now after this little glitch.

One of the most remarkable features of the (New) Ubertemple is the views toward not one but *3* separate sinks. To the immediate north you have the Aotearoa sink, still quite empty except for a couple of stray objects left behind by the previous owner (tennis shoe and such). To the south, a bit further away, you have the Otaki Gorge sink, and what I’m calling Pete’s Mound is clearly visible from the upper stories of the Ubertemple. Then to the northeast you have the east edge of Big Sink itself. Quite a lot to see in circling around the perimeter of the temple, then! I’ll provide some snapshots of each view asap.

The Gallery at the Temple of TILE has already been partially reinstalled, specifically the Ruins in the Woods exhibit with new photos by Edna Blinker. Edwardston Station Gallery is really developing as well, including the ability now to look up, in places through the entire structure or at least parts of the structure. More on that soon as well. It’s really kind of looking through the 10×10 *vertically*… At any rate, I now see that I had to move the ESG back to Aotearoa and in its original form (30×30x30 cube).

Haven’t decided, at all, what to put in the top cube of the 3 interior ones. Bottom will be the Gallery at the Temple of TILE, I presume, and middle is the ESG. Maybe offices? I still have over 200 prims to work with, and can delete additional objects on the ground if needed. I think the Ubertemple should now be the focus above all else.

What of Yd Island, then? Well, I’ve renewed the rent on the 1024 parcel, or extended it I should say. I had to get rid of the residential unit in Teadale, but kept the tiny gallery annex there (Something To CHRO About) for now — very cheap rent on that one. I’ll probably just stay on Yd Island until after X-mas, but maybe delete the gallery there and probably just set up the Victorian house. I want to keep exploring the nifty forest right next door, and, of course, keep visiting Rabbit Head and also The Measure and The Hole. Finish my journey around the perimeter — take additional notes.

What of COLORS? It’s the new Carrcass-1, or projected that way. I think it has to do with TILE directly now… probably good, as Hucka D. says, that I resurrected the Temple in Aotearoa, and in an “uber” way again. Let’s bring in Hucka D. if he wishes. “Hucka D.?”

Hucka D.:

Greenup Yd has a few words to say tonight.

bb:

Ok, bring him on in.

Greenup Yd:

The Hole is lonely.

bb:

Does it need, um, love?

Greenup Yd:

The Hole is The End.

bb:

Constantinople?

Greenup Yd:

Yes. I believe that’s it.

bb:

The love we give, and such…

Hucka D.:

Love is in The Hole.

bb:

Thank you both. Think I’ll do some research before hitting the sack again… might write a bit more in this post about further insights…

Here Comes The Sun… December 8, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — baker Blinker @ 10:34 am

“The Sun has returnred. Good work Baker Bloch… baker b.”

bb:

Sorry I went ahead and did all this without you. I know how you like to fiddle around with these giant beehive structures.

Hucka D.:

Those days are past.

bb:

Maybe we should play around with your image some, Hucka D.

Hucka D.:

I’m happy the way I am. I don’t need to be out much any more. I would like to go back and visit Otherland and Hurla Dontbee sometime. Beehive Mtn… so on.

bb:

We’ll do that for ya! Obviously, I believe, the ESG is a little out of balance just by itself — the enclosed, as we’re calling it, 30×30x30 version. It is The Moon without The Sun.

Hucka D.:

Correct. Moon and Sun must operate in harmony to control the vileful energies of The Hole. You could not stay in Villeneuve with just the ESG and not the Temple of TILE. The temple is the same as Solomon’s. VEIL. VILE. TILE.

bb:

Yeah, I definitely want to talk about that more sometime.

Hucka D.:

TILE; COLORS is next. Prepare.

bb:

I am!

Hucka D.:

Stay on Yd Island for exactly 1 month. That is the window.

bb:

That it?

Hucka D.:

Yes. Thank *you*.

What I’m Leaning Towards… December 2, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — baker Blinker @ 8:59 am

Just so you’ll know…

To the subject…

(What I’m leaning towards…) is getting rid of the Aotearoa property until the Rubi situation is resolved, and just renting in Teasdale and X-ville. Rent runs out at both Aotearoa and Teasdale at about the same time. This will be a temporary suspension of the Edwardston Station Gallery (and, by implication, the virtual display of the 10×10) until it finds a new home. I’m very pleased with the new look of the ESG, and think I want to keep it in a new location, which means having at least 3 1024s of square shape, most likely. This *could* be in Rubi. It could even be on my old Noru properties, the place I spend the bulk of May 15 – Sep 15 at. That was 4 months, just as long as I spent in Rubi last year and also Azure Islands (Gliese) just before Rubi. However nice Aotearoa is now, it could change in a heartbeat with a new mall. On the other hand, I could just wait out Aotearoa to see who moves in. If I give up Aotearoa I won’t get another chance there, most likely.

Marty and Plant have apparently resolved all differences and now represent a fused personality, perhaps of Sunklands itself in some way.

I think I’m going to have to go back and reread all blog posts since the move to Aotearoa, perhaps since the discovery of Sunklands.

I don’t think a move to Maebaleia that I’ve also speculated on through this blog will be the solution to my situation.

Work on maps again. That’s becoming neglected. Blog within a blog again, perhaps.

“Hucka D., come in Hucka D.”

Hucka D.:

I am here for you [as usual].

bb:

You, I suppose, can’t really recommend anything for me at this point.

Hucka D.:

Rubi could be ideal.

bb:

But not Noru…

(no response)

bb:

I think I’ll just go ahead and plan for that to happen, if not now then in the future sometime. But the Mythos connection seems too odd. Must think of Mythos again, Hucka D. COLORS. TILE.

Hucka D.:

You know what I want to say.

bb:

But you’ll stay here and talk to me. Won’t you?

Hucka D.:

We can’t give up on the 10×10. Rent a 1024 and stick the 30×30x30 version of the ESG on it. Like you had, well, in, um… let’s see…

bb:

I can’t remember either [the last location]. What of the Temple [of TILE]?

Hucka D.:

Again, you know what I’m going to say.

bb:

[That] I always have it in my heart.

Hucka D.:

You know now what would be ideal. Put the front back on the temple.

bb:

Thank you.

*****

Hucka D., I have this feeling that Rubi is not going to be available for a while.

Hucka D.:

Perhaps ever. What are your other options?

bb:

(breathes out) 1024 in, um, Sunklands?

Hucka D.:

Closer.

What Next? December 1, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — baker Blinker @ 7:39 pm

Loose notes:

Want to work further on the 60×60x60 cube above Edwardston Station Gallery in Aotearoa, the so-called — so far — Edwardston Station Skygallery, because it *contained* the second copy of the entire 10×10 on the property (again: my definition of an “Edwardston Station Gallery” is a container for this 10×10 work of 100 collages, completed last spring). Well, the collages have been deleted, and further changes to the structure have been made, namely, the moving of the entire Temple of TILE into the square but formerly empty *center* of the 60×60x60 cube. I’m digging the interference the two different angled structures are creating, but, long term, I’m not sure what to put into such a structure. Is it worth the effort? Is it but a symbol of something else, similarly complicated, that I should be working on? Like synchronicity studies? Probably the latter, according to my present judgment.

Another idea is to blend the two together… make this a kind of private gallery that others can go into and look around if they wish, but not having some kind of overall map that would stitch everything together. This is the elephant in the room. COLORS… TILE. 4 directions.

What is the center of Heartland, USA? Is it Arkansas, as Hucka D. likes to say. Or is it Missouri, favored or championed by his former, bitter rival Grassy Noll? Will Grassy again show up in this blog and hold conversations with me/us?

What means this “crop circle” in an unknown location? (credited to Dixey Pisnar) It seems to be an amalgamation of Disney and Pixar names. There’s only one more mention of these names combined on the web I can google today.

COLORS, 01 November 29, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — baker Blinker @ 7:48 am

“Hucka D., can we talk about a bit about TILE or COLORS tonight?”

Hucka D.:

Yes, you will move to Maebaleia. You will rent there.

bb:

But I can do this from Sunklands? Never mind, you can’t answer that yet. But I think I should stay on Jeogeot.

Hucka D.:

Maybe. But move as well. Blue Strawberry is gone… fill the void. COLORS. Collect. Draw in.

bb:

But maybe just attract these to Sunklands.

Hucka D.:

TILE.

bb:

Return to Rubi?

Hucka D.:

End please. Thank you.

bb:

Thank you.
